JEECUP 2023 Counselling - JEECUP Seat Allotment 2023 for Round 3 has been released by Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh on August 31, 2023, at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The last date for document verification and seat acceptance fee payment is September 3, 2023. JEECUP 2023 counselling is conducted in online mode. Candidates had to visit the official website to register for JEECUP counselling. The JEECUP counselling procedure for one of the top-tier colleges offering diploma, post-diploma, and post-graduate diploma courses in engineering, technology, and management involves a number of steps, including registration, choice filling, processing fee payment, and seat allotment. In order to get admitted to their desired course and college, each applicant must complete each phase of the counselling procedure.

JEECUP 2023 Counselling and Seat Allotment

The counselling process of JEECUP 2023 is being held online. The seat allotment result is released after each round. There are various steps that will be included in the JEECUP 2023 counselling process such as registration, fee payment, choice filling & locking, document verification, etc. Those who have qualified for the exam will first have to register for counselling. 

JEECUP 2023 Counselling Procedure

The step-by-step process for JEECUP 2023 counselling is mentioned in detail below:

Step 1: Registration

Register for JEECUP Counselling 2023. Candidates will have to fill out the registration form using all the important details and generate a new password. 

Step 2: Fee Payment

After generating a new password and submitting the registration form, pay the JEECUP 2023 counselling fee to complete their registration. It is important for the candidates to read the complete terms & conditions before paying the counselling fee for JEECUP 2023 as the fee will be non-refundable.

Step 3: Choice Filling & Locking

After the successful registration, the candidates will have to fill in their choices for college and courses before the last date. The choice filling should be in the order of priority and fill as many choices as they want to maximize their chance of getting a seat. It is also important for the candidates to lock their choices before the last date or else the choices made will be automatically locked on the last date.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

During the seat allotment process, candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their JEECUP 2023 rank and choices. If the candidate accepts the seat allotted, he/ she will have to pay an acceptance fee of INR 3000/- which will be later adjusted in the admission fee.

Step 5: Acceptance (Freeze/ Float)

After the seat allocation pays the acceptance fees and select one of the two options:
  • Freeze: If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and wants to lock it, he/ she will have to choose the Freeze option. 
  • Float: If the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat and wants to appear for the next counselling round, he/ she can choose the Float option. If the candidate is allotted a higher seat in the next rounds, the previous seat allotted will be canceled, and vice versa.

Step 6: Document Verification & Reporting

After the seat allotment process, those who have selected the freeze option will have to pay the admission fee online and report at the allotted institute to submit their documents for verification.

Step 7: Final Admission Process

After document verification and payment of the admission fee, the admission process will be completed.

JEECUP 2023 Counselling Fee

It is mandatory to pay the JEECUP 2023 counselling fee at the time of registration. Those who fail to pay the JEECUP 2023 counselling fee within the stipulated time will not be allowed for the counselling process. The JEECUP 2023 counselling fee is INR 250/- and can be paid either in online mode (debit/ credit/ net banking) or offline mode (E-challan).

JEECUP 2023 Counselling Document Verification

The candidates must submit their documents for verification at the time of the counselling process of JEECUP 2023. Those who fail to submit their documents will be disqualified from the JEECUP 2023 counselling process. It is also important for the candidates to bring one original and two photocopies of all the documents to the prescribed centre.

As prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Government, there is a certain seat reservation policy implied on the JEECUP 2023 counselling.
