Different Options Available in JEECUP Seat Allotment Process

The students will find two options during the JEECUP seat allotment process - Freeze and Float. In this section, we will try to define these terms in very simple words - 

• Freeze - Students satisfied with the allocation of seats and wish to go ahead with the subsequent admission process. Such students are not allowed to participate in the subsequent counselling and seat allotment rounds

• Float - Students not satisfied with the allocation of seats and wish to participate in the subsequent rounds of the seat allotment process. In this case, if the students are not allocated better seats in the subsequent round, they can take admission in their previously allocated seats whereas, if they are allocated better seats, their previously allocated seats get cancelled automatically
