Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is one of the top medical colleges in India. JIPMER MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech subjects in aggregate

  • The applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology subjects

  • As of 31 December, the candidate must be at least 17 years of age

  • A minimum of 60% marks (50% marks for ST / SC and OPH categories) must have been obtained by candidates from any recognized board of education with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subject.

  • Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12th Board examination having Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects or equivalent are also eligible to apply

  • The OCI/NRI candidates have to submit an eligibility certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi

JIPMER Application Process 2023

The candidates who are applying for the JIPMER MBBS course will have to fill the NEET UG application form. Guidelines for filling out the NEET Application Form 2023 are listed below:-

  • Visit https://ntaneet.nic.in

  • Fill out the application form with all necessary details, such as Personal Details, Contact information & Educational qualifications

  • Once the application form has been completed, the candidates must pay the application fee to apply for the application form.

  • The application fee can be paid both online & offline mode

  • For General Category the application fee is Rs 1600/-. Rs 1500/- for OBC, and for SC/ ST category the application fee is Rs 900/-.

  • It is recommended that candidates keep the registration slip secure until the admission process is completed.

JIPMER MBBS Admission Cut-Off 2023

NEET 2023 will be having the highest number of applicants appearing for admission in the MBBS course in various medical institutes of the country i.e. 18.76 lacs students. Hence, the cut-off marks for JIPMER are expected to be high as compared to the previous years. JIPMER MBBS cut-off for 2023 is expected to be somewhere between 580 to 610 for the Unreserved category. NEET Cut Off 2023 is expected to be at least 50% marks for the Unreserved category.

Can I get admission to JIPMER without NEET 2023?

No there is no other selection process to all the JIPMER across the country than appearing for NEET conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The decision was made by the government of India in 2020 to conduct a single entrance test for all government and medical institutions.

 

What is the counseling process for JIPMER MBBS?

NEET 2023 exam will be held in July 2023 and the 1st round of counseling will be held soon after results have been declared. All the seats to admission in MBBS through JIPMER will be allotted according to NEET Counseling 2023.

Hello Mallikarjun,

To secure admission at AIIMS Delhi, you have to take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test  (NEET) exam and secure a valid rank. The minimum percentile required for admission to the institute for SC category candidates is 40 percentile. The minimum marks required is 136-107 for SC category candidates.

The Government Dental College Raipur cutoff 2023 for NEET UG is more than 400 marks for state-quota students. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Raipur has released the NEET cut-off 2023 Chhattisgarh round 1 for 85% of state quota seats. However, the cutoff for 15% AIQ seats at Government Dental College Raipur will be released by MCC. You can check the official cutoff list to be sure whether you are eligible for admission.
