KCET B.Pharma 2022 Exam

KCET B.Pharma 2023: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts the KCET 2023 entrance exam for admission to Pharmacy courses such as B.Pharm and D.Pharma at various institutes throughout Karnataka. The last day to report to the allotted college in Round 2 KCET B Pharma counselling is September 14, 2023 before 5:30 pm. Candidates must make the fee payment to finalize the seat allotment till September 13, 2023. 

Round 2 seat allotment result for KCET B.Pharma 2023 was released on the official website @cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The seat allotment list for Round 2 was released on September 8, 2023. Previously, the seat allotment result was scheduled to be published on September 7, 2023, but due to some unmentioned reason, it was delayed.   • Candidates should have passed PUC or class 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Physics Chemistry, Mathematics as their main subjects.

  • Must have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate for GM candidates. 

  • For SC/ST, Category-I, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B must secure at least 40% marks or 

  • Must have a D.Pharm degree with a minimum of 45% of marks for GM candidates (40% for SC/ST, Category-I, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B candidates).

  • Candidates should be at least 17 years of age.



Only on the basis of marks obtained in PCM or PCB Subjects (whichever is higher) in CET. (No Minimum Marks prescribed in CET.)

B.Pharm

(Lateral Entry)

  • Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India

  • Must have secured a minimum of 45% marks. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)

KCET B.Pharma 2023 Application Form

The KCET B.Pharma 2023 Application form was released on February 27, 2023. Candidates could fill out the application form till May 9, 2023. In order to fill out the KCET 2023 application form, students needed to visit the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and log into their candidate portal. The entire registration process will be conducted in online mode. Aspirants will have to pay the KCET Application fee in online mode only.

KCET 2023 B.Pharma Merit / Rank 

The KCET 2023 merit/ ranking is determined by KEA based on the following factors mentioned below:-

B.Pharm

  • Merit will be determined on the basis of performance of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects 

  • PCB or PCM marks whichever is highest in Common Entrance Test 2023. 

  • A common rank list will be prepared and published separately for admission to B-Pharma. 

  • The candidates who have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy course seeking admission to B-Pharma should compulsorily submit their photocopy of D-Pharma (final year) Marks card on which CET number is boldly written to KEA. Failing which Rank will not be assigned to the candidate

  • Separate result sheets showing the B-Pharm ranks will be published on the notified date on KEA Website i.e kea.kar.nic.in

B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)

  • On the basis of performance of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects 

  • PCB or PCM marks whichever is highest in the Common Entrance Test 2023. Common rank list will be prepared and published separately for admission to 2nd Year B-Pharm (Lateral Entry)

  • Separate result sheets showing the 2nd year B-Pharm ranks will be published on the notified date on KEA Website i.e kea.kar.nic.in

Note:- Candidates who have any objections in respect of any of the entries or issues or discrepancies in the result sheets, of the Common Entrance Test, can submit their objections within three days of publication of the CET - 2023 result and thereafter result will be published for such candidates.

KCET B.Pharma 2023 Result

Following the completion of the KCET Pharmacy 2023, the authority publishes the KCET Pharmacy result on its official website. The link to the KCET result 2023 gets activated on the KEA's official website. To view the KCET 2023 result, candidates must enter their roll number and click the search option. The KCET results can be viewed in the form of a scorecard. KCET Pharmacy result comprises the candidate's entrance examination rank, scores in all portions of the examination, and qualifying examination score.

KCET B.Pharma 2023 Cutoff

The Karnataka Examination Authority creates a cut-off list for admission to KCET participating colleges. To gain admission to the specific institute, candidates must have marks equal to or higher than the KCET 2023 cutoff score. The AKTU counselling fee for admission to Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology for the reserved categories like SC/ST/PWD is Rs 500. However, for students from the General category, the counselling fee is Rs 1,000.
