Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies or NMIMS is an institute that started conducting its own online Law Admission Test for undergraduate law programmes in the year 2020. Popularly known as NLAT or NMIMS LAT, the law entrance exam provides admission to integrated law courses- Bachelor of Arts plus Bachelor of Law (BA LLB Hons.) and Bachelor of Business Administration plus Bachelor of Law ( BBA LLB Hons.) programmes.

The NMIMS-Law Aptitude Test (LAT) 2022 results will be released by SVKM's NMIMS soon. From April 1 to June 26, 2022, candidates were able to take the NMIMS-LAT test in a computer-based manner online. On December 23, 2021, the NMIMS-LAT 2022 application form was made available. Candidates had to reserve their spots for the exam after submitting their applications. For admission to the BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) programs offered by the six law campuses of SVKM's NMIMS, candidates must pass the university-level common law entrance exam known as the NMIMS LAT.

There were 150 objective-type questions on the NMIMS LAT 2022 exam paper, including subjects like the English language, current events, general knowledge, math, legal analysis, and logical reasoning. The NMIMS LAT 2022 question paper will be provided to candidates with two hours to complete it.

In order to appear for NMIMS LAT 2022, candidates have to fill and submit the application form before the last date expires. The following links will be updated as soon as the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies commences its admission process.

NMIMS LAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible to take the NMIMS LAT 2022 exam:

  • Candidates must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% in Class 12 or the equivalent from a recognised board in any field.
  • Candidates who have completed Class 12 through the International Baccalaureate (IB) board should either have an IB certificate or a DP with at least 24 total credits and at least three HL and three SL in any stream.
  • If the marksheet provided by the appropriate board is in percentile format, the candidate's real cumulative percentage across all subjects will be taken into account.
  • Candidates are ineligible to apply for the exam if they have an ungraded or failing grade in any of the subjects listed on their marksheet.
  • Candidates who will be taking the Class 12 final examinations may also apply. These candidates must, however, meet the aforementioned requirements within the allotted time frame.

How to Apply for NMIMS LAT 2022?

To apply for the NMIMS LAT exam, here are a few steps that need to be followed:

  • To register, click "Apply Now" and establish an account.
  • The registration number will be sent to the candidate's registration email address, which they will utilize to fill and submit the application form.
  • According to the eligibility requirements, choose a test category (NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-LAT) / a school / a programme / and a campus.
  • The candidate can select several exam categories, numerous schools, and multiple programme options.
  • The registration fees are determined by the number of schools chosen for each exam category and the total number of retakes.
  • Only candidates who have paid will be able to schedule their exam choices.
  • Each examination category allows the candidate to select one primary and two retakes. An applicant will be given three chances to take whichever exam he chooses.
  • After successfully registering, the candidate will be given the option of selecting a test date/s and a test centre.
  • Test dates and test centre availability are dependent on test centre capacity.
  • It will be made available to the candidate on a first-come, first-served basis.

NMIMS LAT Application Fee 2022 

The application for the NMIMS LAT exam 2022 category-wise is mentioned below. Please note that the application fee has to be paid online via net banking/debit card/credit card. The application fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances only except in the case where the exam is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances or if a candidate is not able to make a successful payment due to some technical glitch on the official website.

The admit card/hall ticket is generated after the examination has been scheduled. The admit card displays the exam date, city, and testing location. This is displayed on the candidate's dashboard.

Aspirants must follow the below instructions to avoid any last-minute confusion on the exam day.

  • The student must bring a hard copy of the admit card. In the absence of this, the candidate will be unable to sit the examination.
  • The test center's verification staff will compare the photograph on the admit card to the person taking the exam.
  • As a result, candidates are asked to upload a recent photograph to minimise confusion at the testing centre.
  • The candidate must also bring one original ID evidence and a photocopy to the test centre.
  • The following ID proofs are acceptable for candidates to bring to the exam centre: Voters ID / Passport / Aadhaar Card / Driving License /12th Admit Card / PAN Card.

How to download NMIMS LAT Admit Card 2022?

Only after the test has been scheduled will the NMIMS LAT 2022 admit card be generated. It is a requirement in order to take the NMIMS LAT 2022 exam. The name and address of the test center, city, and selected exam date are all listed on the admit card. To download your admission card for the NMIMS LAT exam in 2022, follow the instructions below:

  • Visit the NMIMS LAT 2022 dashboard.
  • Use your registration ID and password to log in.
  • Click the link for the admissions form.
  • On the screen, the NMIMS LAT 2022 admission card will appear.

What after NMIMS LAT 2022 Exam?

After the conduction of the NMIMS LAT exam, a merit list will be generated. Candidates are required to log in to the official portal and check their respective results. Shortlisted candidates have to either select or reject the offer. The institute will release the NMIMS LAT 2022 results soon. A merit list representing the results of the NMIMS LAT 2022 will be made public. The applicants may also receive personal scorecards.

How can I find out my NMIMS LAT 2022 score?

NMIMS LAT 2022 Selection Process

  • The merit list will be assembled per the candidate's performance in the NMIMS-LAT exam.
  • The Institute's judgement will be final, and no inquiries or discussions will be accepted.
  • Following the admissions process, applicants must update their 12th or similar exams scores.
  • Applicants will not be included in the merit list if the correct information in the online registration form is not updated.
  • It is the candidate's entire obligation to ensure that the correct marks are entered.
  • Suppose authorities find out that the information provided by the candidate, i.e., 12th or equivalent exam, is inaccurate. In that case, the candidate's admission will be terminated, and fees will be reimbursed following the established refund procedures.

Hello Sakshi,

To secure admission to the B.A LLB programme at Swami Vivekananda Law College, you must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks (SC/ ST category candidates - 40%). The programme is 5 years long and divided into 10 semesters. It has an intake of 120 students. The programme is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
