TS POLYCET 2026 Tie-Breaking Criteria

The tie-breaking criteria for TS POLYCET 2026 for both MPC and MBiPC streams have been mentioned here for your convenience:

For MPC Stream:

  • Students with higher marks in Mathematics will be given preference over others.
  • If the tie persists, whoever gets a higher score in Physics will be given preference over others.
  • If the tie remains, the older candidate will be given the higher rank.
  • Finally, to resolve the tie, the candidate with a higher aggregate percentage in their Class 10th exam will be preferred.

For MBiPC Stream:

  • Students with higher marks in Biology will be given preference over others.
  • If the tie persists, whoever gets a higher score in Physics will be given preference over others.
  • If the tie persists, the student with a higher score in Chemistry will be given preference over others.
  • If the tie remains, the older candidate will be given the higher rank.
  • Finally, to resolve the tie, the candidate with a higher aggregate percentage in their Class 10th exam will be preferred.

The TS POLYCET 2026 result is expected to be declared tentatively in the month of June 2026. The result will be declared in the form of rank cars. You will be able to acces your result by logging in with the required credentials.   3. Since there is no negative marking in the entrance exam, your guesswork should not be random but rather qualitative.
  4. Focus on the ‘Math leverage’ to get an upper hand during a tie.
