VIT Law School LLM Eligibility Criteria 2023

It is of utmost importance to satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the institute before filling out the VIT Law School LLM application form. Enlisted below are the parameters that must be met before participating in the application process.

  • The aspirants are required to have completed either a 3-year long LLB or a 5-year integrated LLB from a recognized college or university.

  • The candidates must have qualified for the undergraduate degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.

  • If an aspirant falls under the reserved category such as SC/ST, they are provided with 5% relaxation. Such candidates can apply with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying degree.

  • If a candidate is awaiting the final result of the qualifying degree and has cleared all the previous examinations, he/she can get provisional admission to the college given that the aspirant submits the qualifying degree results before registering for the first semester courses.

  • Register for the LLM course by clicking on “New Applicant”.

  • A new window will pop up.

  • Sign up by entering the candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, nationality, email ID, and mobile number.

  • Identify the verification code and enter it in the box given below.

  • Cross-check all the details before clicking on “Register”.

Step 2: Log in

  • Sign in using the registered email ID and the password received by VIT.

  • Enter the verification code and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 3: Application Form

  • Enter all the personal and academic details aptly and carefully.

Step 4: Upload the Documents

  • Upload a passport-sized colored photograph in jpg/jpeg format. The maximum size of the photo must be 200 KB and the dimensions must not exceed 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.

  • Aspirants must not upload a selfie as it is not allowed.

  • The signature of the candidate must be uploaded with a maximum file size of 200 KB. The dimensions of the signature must be 6 cm X 2 cm.

Step 5: Make Payment

  • The application fee for the VIT Law School LLM course is Rs. 1,200 which is not refundable.

  • It should be noted that the payment of fees can be done only through online mode. (Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking)

  • After submission of the form, an application number will be generated. Note it down for further reference.
