Good Score in GATE Electrical Engineering 2025 - Admission Process

Students who obtain scores within the GATE 2025 cutoff for EE will be eligible for admission into the GATE participating institutes 2025. The admission process involves filling an application form of the institute and registering for the COAP and CCMT with respect to admission into IITs, NITs, and GFTIs. The institute will shortlist the students on the basis of the GATE scores obtained by the students in the GATE 2025 exam and intimation is displayed on the college/ CCMT or COAP portal. Several institutes also conduct additional written tests and/ or interviews after shortlisting the students on the basis of their GATE 2025 scores.

Dear Student,

It is not mandatory to pay the tuition fee for the college allotted in Phase 1 to be eligible for Phase 2 of TS PGECET 2025 counselling. If you wish to upgrade your seat you can participate in Phase 2 web options even if you do not pay the fees or report to the college allotted in the first phase. However, if you have already paid the fee for the Phase 1 college and then get a new seat in the second phase of counselling, the fees paid earlier be transferred to the new college.
