Good Score in GATE Mechanical Engineering 2025: The GATE Mechanical Engineering 2025 exam was conducted on February 2, 2025, for a total of 100 marks. A score of 85+ marks in GATE Mechanical can be considered a very good score in GATE 2025 Mechanical Engineering. Good Score in GATE Mechanical Engineering 2025 - Admission Process

If you qualify the GATE exam, then you will be eligible for admission across the GATE participating institutes. The admission process for IITs , NITs, and GFTIs include registering for the COAP and CCMT. To get into IITs for MTech Mechanical Engineering, you will have to secure above 750 scaled score in GATE 2025 as per the previous year's cutoff trends. The IIT Bombay cutoff for the ME branch through GATE was around 800, whereas the IIT Delhi cutoff stood at around 700 scaled score. On the other hand, to get into top NITs for MTech Mechanical Engineering, you will have to secure a scaled score of above 500. The NIT Warangal gate cut off is around 600. If you are expecting a low score in Gate 2025, then colleges like NIT Calicut, SVNIT Surat, NIT Rourkela, and NIT Durgapur accept a scaled score of 300 and for branches other than NIT.

Dear Student,

It is not mandatory to pay the tuition fee for the college allotted in Phase 1 to be eligible for Phase 2 of TS PGECET 2025 counselling. If you wish to upgrade your seat you can participate in Phase 2 web options even if you do not pay the fees or report to the college allotted in the first phase. However, if you have already paid the fee for the Phase 1 college and then get a new seat in the second phase of counselling, the fees paid earlier be transferred to the new college.
