If you are pursuing a diploma final year and wish to take admission into National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli through Joint Entrance Examination Main, you are generally not eligible through the regular JEE Main route because NITs primarily admit students who have completed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and one additional subject. Diploma holders usually cannot apply through JEE Main for first year B.Tech at NIT Trichy.
