TS ECET 2022 Preparation Tips: The Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test commonly known as TS ECET 2022 is an undergraduate state-level entrance exam conducted by JNTU Hyderabad on behalf of TSCHE. Candidates can get admission to engineering colleges in Telangana for various courses through TS ECET 2022. Since the exam is a state-level exam, there is a huge competition that is faced by the candidates every year. Keeping in view the competition, candidates need to prepare sincerely so that they are able to cope with the preparation.

The admit card of TS ECET 2022 is to be available on the official website from July 28, 2022. The authorities have revised and set the exam for August 1, 2022.

Candidates need to know that the TS ECET 2022 entrance exam is a Computer Based Exam (CBT) which means that the candidates need to know the basics of the computer. Knowing the syllabus and exam pattern of TS ECET 2022

Candidates who are appearing for the TS ECET 2022 exam, need to make sure that they have analyzed the syllabus of TS ECET 2022 exam completely. When they are well aware of the TS ECET 2022 syllabus, they can track if all the topics are prepared by them or not. 

Other than the syllabus, another important thing that is needed to be kept in mind is the TS ECET 2022 exam pattern. Knowing the exam pattern TS ECET 2022 will ensure that the candidates are aware of the duration of the exam, marks weightage, subject wise weightage, medium of the exam, marking scheme, and types of questions asked. Candidates are entitled to appear for 3 hours in TS ECET 2022 exam. There are 200 questions asked in the exam consisting of 1 mark. There are no provisions for negative markings in the exam. TS ECET 2022 exam is conducted in English only. No other language is allowed in the exam.

Preparation of a timetable

The next important thing that is required by the candidates to prepare well for the exam is to prepare an effective timetable for themselves. Now there might be questions on how to prepare one? The answer is that the timetable must be prepared in such a way that all the topics are covered in the preparation with equal importance. Candidates need to make sure that all the topics are given equal time. Below are the pointers that will help the candidates in making an elective timetable.

TS ECET 2022 Mathematics

  • Practicing Mathematics at least 3 hours a day is highly recommended.
  • All the problems need to be solved. The questions that are in doubt have to be clarified by teachers, mentors, and seniors
  • Arrange the numerical on the basis of difficulty
  • Practice the NCERT books 

TS ECET 2022 Physics

  • A minimum of 1.5 hours daily has to be disbursed on Physics. 
  • Numericals have to practice regularly and maintain a separate notebook for the sums
  • Cover at least 2 relevant topics per day
  • Highlight the important topics, make notes

TS ECET 2022 Chemistry

  • Candidates are advised to study a minimum of 1.5 hours daily in Chemistry 
  • The periodic table has to be revised daily
  • Formulas have to be revised and maintained in a separate notebook
  • Numericals have to be practiced every day

TS ECET 2022 Engineering Subjects

  • Studying the engineering subjects at least 2 hours a day is required
  • Practicing the diagrams, formulae, and numerical

Handy Notes

Candidates preparing for TS ECET 2022 should prepare notes for themselves, and keep them handy. It can be made in the form of highlighters, pointers, diagrams, graphs, charts, etc to make them attractive and interesting to read. According to the researchers, the preparation of notes has helped the candidates to remember them effectively for a longer duration. It is to be noted that these notes prepared by the candidates should be taken from known and authentic resources.

Practicing previous year's question papers

To make an effective preparation, one needs to practice the previous year's papers of  TS ECET 2022 so that they are well accustomed to the exam paper pattern, common questions asked in the exam, etc. the most important thing that will be helpful is candidates will be able to manage time effectively and their confidence will be boosted.

Time management

Time management is the most essential thing for entrance exams such as TS ECET 2022. Candidates will have to attempt 200 questions in 3 hours which becomes a challenging criterion for the candidates. Not much of the time has to be spent on a single question. Since TS ECET 2022 is a state level exam, the questions asked are also tricky, therefore they have to be quick, accurate, and efficient. 

Revise

Revision is the key to successful preparation for TS ECET 2022. When there is an effective revision, candidates remember and all the topics are covered. They are able to understand and track the topics that are weak in their preparation period so that they are spending time on them.

TS ECET 2022: Points to remember

  • Candidates need to be confident. They should not lose their confidence if the TS ECET 2022 question paper is hard and questions are tricky
  • Sleeping for 7- 8 hours is recommended. This will balance out the stress and all the clumsiness
  • Breaks of 5 minutes should be taken after 30 minutes. If the candidates are studying straight, the focus is lost and leads to drowsiness
  • The question paper should be read distinctly. The questions easier to attempt should be attempted earlier than the harder and lengthier ones
  • Time management should be kept in mind
  • Questions that require less work are recommended to attempt first so that time is preserved and more marks are scored
  • Keep the admit card and all the required things handy to avoid the last minute botheration
