VTU Belgaum Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

VTU Admission Notification 2023: The registration link for VTU admission to higher semesters at constituent, affiliated and autonomous colleges for the year 2022-23 is open from February 6, 2023 to February 7, 2023.

Visvesvaraya Technological University admissions to all the courses offered at its affiliated, autonomous and constituent colleges are done either on the basis of merit or on the basis of entrance exams conducted at the state and national levels. Admissions at VTU Belgaum are carried out online. As per the VTU admission criteria, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set for the courses. For some VTU courses admission, the entrance exam is not compulsory and for some, it is the basis of evaluation. Candidates must attentively go through their respective courses VTU admission guidelines before proceeding with the registration. The VTU Belgavi admission procedure for entrance-based courses is different from that of non-entrance-based courses. VTU Belgavi Admission Process 2023 for Non-Entrance-Based Courses

• First and foremost, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria set for the courses.
• Once the eligibility criteria are fulfilled, candidates need to visit the VTU official website and register themselves.
• To register, candidates need to open the registration link and enter the basic details such as their name, e-mail id, phone number and so on.
• Candidates must enter their correct contact details as it cannot be changed later and all the admission-related details will be communicated through the same.
• After registration, candidates need to pay the VTU registration fees. The registration fee is Rs 4,000 for UG courses and Rs 4,500 for PG courses. For the lateral entry courses, it is Rs 3,000. 
• Registration fee payment has to done in online mode. 
• Candidates will be then directed to the application page, where they need to duly fill out the VTU application form and attach the necessary documents as asked.
• Once the application form is filled, candidates need to submit the same.
• Candidates must select their respective courses and college at this stage itself.
• It is advised to keep a copy of the VTU Belgaum application form for future references. This will mark the end of the VTU application process.
• In the next stage of the VTU Belgaum admission process, candidates will be evaluated based on the information available.
• The shortlisted candidates will be then directed to the next stage where for admission to some courses a personal interview session will be held or an assessment test will be conducted.
• After clearing this stage, candidates need to sit for counselling where the final college and branch allotment will be done.
• At this stage, candidates can pay their requisite admission fees and get their documents verified.
• This will mark the end of the Visvesvaraya Technological University admission process.

VTU Belgavi Admission Process 2023 for Entrance-Based Courses

• For Visvesvaraya Technological University admission to the entrance based courses, candidates need to first and foremost meet the eligibility criteria set for the course.
• Next, candidates need to visit the respective exam registration link and register for the same. The application id and password generated at the time of registration must be noted down carefully. It will be needed to download the admit card or check the entrance exam results.
• Once registration is done, candidates need to pay the examination fee and keep a copy with of the application and payment receipt with themselves.
• Candidates then need to visit the VTU official website and fill in the application form.
• Candidates must mention the name of the entrance exams they have appeared for in the application form.
• Once the entrance exam results are out, candidates will be shortlisted based on the VTU cutoff list. The shortlisted candidates will then have to register for counselling and pay the counselling fees.
• At the counselling session, candidates will be allotted a college under VTU affiliation
• Finally, candidates need to pay the VTU admission fees and get their documents verified.
