AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2020
The medical aspirants who wish to pursue an MBBS course from AIIMS Institutes in India, they must first qualify the AIIMS MBBS eligibility criteria 2020. However, as of 2019, aspirants must adhere to the NEET-UG 2020 eligibility criteria in order to pursue an AIIMS MBBS course. NEET-UG eligibility criteria for MBBS is as follows:

AIIMS MBBS Age Limit 2020
Along with qualifying the academic qualifications, aspirants are also required to have met the AIIMS MBBS age limit 2020. The age limit for AIIMS MBBS 2020 will be according to the rules of NEET-2020. The age limit for MBBS is as follows:
Upper and Lower Limit
General Category and General EWS (Candidates must be Born on or Before 31st December 2003)
Upper Limit - 25 years old as on 31st December 2020
Lower Limit - 17 Years Old as of 31st December 2020
SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD (Candidates must be born on or before 31st December 2020)
Upper Limit - 30 Years Old as on 31st December 2020
Lower Limit - 17 Years old as on December 2020
For the lower age limit, candidates who are 16 years old during the admission process, however, will turn 17 by 31st December 2020 will be eligible for admissions to the course. It is important to note, that candidates will be shortlisted based on their age as on the specified date and not as on the admission date.
AIIMS MBBS Application Process 2020
All aspirants who qualify the different eligibility and age limit criteria for MBBS admissions as mentioned above will be able to partake in the AIIMS MBBS application process 2020. Candidates must note, as previously mentioned, admissions will be through NEET-UG 2020, therefore, all aspirants are required to apply for NEET-UG 2020, prior to selecting an AIIMS MBBS course. Here are the steps you need to follow for the application process of AIIMS MBBS 2020.
Candidates are first required to register themselves at the official website for NEET-UG 2020.
For this, you must enter in all the credentials such as your name, valid email ID and phone number, along with other details. You will also be asked to create a password and submit all the details.
Next, you will receive a unique application number, which will serve as your login ID. You will be required to login with the Application Number you received and the password you created to obtain the NEET-UG 2020 application form.
After login in with the application number and password, you will be able to fill in the application form.
You must enter in all the details that have been earmarked as compulsory by the conducting body. You will be asked to enter the details in a step-wise process.
First enter in the basic personal details, then details pertaining to your birth, city and state, following which you will be asked to choose the medium of exam and the centre appropriate for you.
Details such as academic qualifications and the name of educational institutions from where you cleared your academics must be entered. You are required to fill in the necessary details and proceed to the next step.
After entering all the details, you will be required to upload the requisite images such as your photograph and signature in the specified format.
Applicants are then required to pay the NEET-UG 2020 application fee, as outlined by the NTA. The candidates will be able to pay the application fee in both online and offline mode.
After paying the necessary application fee and filling out the entire application form, a confirmation page will be presented on your screen. All candidates are advised to take a printout of the same and conserve the same for future admission processes.
Photograph and Signature Guidelines for NEET-UG 2020 Application
During the application process, applicants must adhere to the photograph and signature guidelines for NEET-UG 2020 application. As per the guidelines mentioned by NTA:
Candidates are to upload a scanned image of their recent photograph and signature.
For photograph, candidates must get their photographs clicked in front of a light background.
For their Signature, candidates must sign on a white paper and get it scanned.
Only clear images for both photographs and signature will be accepted.

AIIMS MBBS Application Fee 2020
All candidates applying for the course must pay the AIIMS MBBS Application Fee 2020. As mentioned above, candidates will be required to apply to NEET-UG 2020, therefore, the application fee for NEET-UG 2020 must be cleared. AIIMS MBBS Selection Process 2020
The AIIMS MBBS selection process 2020 will be based on the NEET-UG 2020 counselling process. Once the NEET-UG results have been released, a cut-off list will be released by the National Testing Agency, the NEET-UG 2020 conducting body. The candidates who qualify the NEET-UG 2020 cut-off will be eligible for the NEET-UG counselling process 2020.
In order to take part in the NEET-UG counselling process, as mentioned above, candidates are required to meet the cut-off criteria for NEET-UG 2020. Qualifying candidates will be eligible for AIQ or All India Quota Counselling process under NEET-UG 2020. The candidates will solely be selected based on their performance in the NEET-UG 2020 exam.
All candidates are required to register to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on their official website, for the AIQ counselling process. Once the registration for the UG counselling process has been completed. Candidates will be able to fill in their choices for colleges and course. Candidates are advised to select the college based on their priority and choice. The priority of a college can be changed by checking out the process mentioned in the link given above.
Candidates are also eligible for the state-wise counselling process, where colleges of a particular state allocate 85% of seats for domicile students and 15% of the seats for AIQ students. All students can apply for both the categories or one, depending on their choice.
With the removal of university-level and state-level medical admission test for UG medical courses such as MBBS and BDS, applicants are set to witness an increase in competition for the MBBS seats in India. Reports have suggested that this year, more than 21 applicants will be fighting over 1 MBBS seat in the country. However, the addition of AIIMS and JIPMER colleges under NEET-UG 2020 also increases the total number of seats for MBBS, while both state and central government are doing their bit to increase the overall number of MBBS seats in India.
