NATA 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Council of Architecture (CoA) prescribed the NATA 2022 eligibility criteria. The following pointers will exclusively deal with the detailed eligibility criteria of NATA which the aspirants must fulfil to be able to sit in the NATA exam for the session 2022-23:
CoA is not specified any age criteria to apply for NATA exam
The applicants must have qualified for the 10+2 level qualifying exam with an aggregate of 50% or more in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined at the qualifying level
The applicants must also have qualified for the 10+2 level exam with an overall aggregate of 50% in the qualifying exam level
Those who have completed their Diploma education in 10+3 Diploma format with a minimum aggregate of 50% and have studied Mathematics as a mandatory subject will be eligible to sit in the NATA exam of 2022
Those who are appearing in their 10+2 exam (with PCM subjects) and 10+3 exam (with compulsory Mathematics subject) in the concurrent year of NATA exam can also apply
5% relaxation in the qualifying aggregate marks will be given to aspirants from SC, ST, OBC-NCL and PwD categories

NATA Application Form Dates 2022 The official website has released the NATA 2022 exam date for all attempts. On the official website, the exam conducting authorities have declared the NATA 2022 application form deadline as April 8, for all three sessions. On June 12, July 3, and July 24, the NATA test will be administered in three stages. Many B.Arch admissions at the state level are also based on the NATA 2022 score.
Eligibility Criteria for NATA 2022 - State Level Admission
He or she should be an Indian citizen.
A candidate who completed the 2nd PUC / 12th grade exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects and received a minimum of 50% in all subjects.
SC, ST, Category I, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) candidates, and those with mental disability or mental disease receive 45 percent of the marks (including dyslexia).
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Admission is also open to Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).
Candidates must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
OR Candidates must have a three-year diploma with a minimum of 50% overall.
OR Candidates must have earned at least 50% in the International Baccalaureate Diploma after completing 10 years of study.
Candidates should have taken Mathematics as one of their qualifying subjects.
Candidates must be citizens of India.
Candidates must have received at least a 45 percent aggregate score in class 12th from a recognised board.
Candidates must have received a degree from an recognized institution with a minimum score of 50%.
Himachal B.Arch Admission
Candidates must have completed the 12th grade with a minimum of 50% aggregate in all subjects (45% for Reserved category) and Mathematics as one of the subjects.
OR Candidates must have received a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+3 (diploma) with Math as a subject from a recognised Centre/State Government (45 percent in case of Reserved category).
The candidates must not think that they will be definitely allocated a seat in one of the Architecture institutions if they qualify for the NATA exam. Allocation of seats or final admission will solely depend on the candidates’ fulfilment of eligibility conditions and criteria prescribed by the competent authorities.
Who is Eligible to Join in the First Year of 5-year B.Arch Programme?
Only those aspirants will be eligible to join the first year of the 5-year B.Arch programme in one of the Architecture institutions who:
To get admision o Architecture course, the candidates should pass 10+2 scheme of examination at least 50 per cent
the candidates should get at least 50 percent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Note: The aggregate marks should get in 10+2 level examination or 10+2 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50 percent marks
No direct lateral admission is permissible at any year/stage/semester of BArch course
Also Note: The Architecture aspirants must know that only by qualifying NATA exam they will be able to secure a seat in one of the Architectures offering institutions in the country. Any request regarding direct or lateral entry at any year or stage of the B.Arch programme will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Reservation under different categories
Relaxation in qualifying marks for the reserved category candidates is a prerogative of the admission or Counselling authority. The concerned authorities do not fall under the purview.

NATA 2022: Number of attempts
The candidates are allowed to appear for the exam for up to 3 times. After that the authorities consider the average of 2 best scores. Whereas, in case of 2 attempts, NATA accepts the best score out of 2 attempts.

The questions will be asked of 1 mark, 2 marks or 3 marks
