It is mandatory for candidates to fulfill the NATA 2019 eligibility criteria in order to take the entrance exam. The NATA eligibility criteria is prescribed by the Council of Architecture (COA). The eligibility norms of NATA 2019 include terms and conditions that candidates have to meet to be eligible to apply for the entrance exam. The requirements may be related to academic qualification, age limit, minimum marks, etc.
Candidates may note that there is no age bar to take NATA 2019. The examination can be attempted by people of all age group. However, the important thing to keep in mind is that the candidates have to comply with the respective counselling and admission authorities' age criteria for admission. NATA is a computer-based exam, which is conducted on a national level for students seeking admission in first year of 5-year B.Arch courses offered at all the NATA participating colleges in India. NATA 2019 is scheduled to be conducted in the last week of April 2019.
While there is no minimum age limit to apply for NATA 2019, a candidate may have to comply with the age criteria set by the respective counselling/ admission authority.
Applicants should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
Applicants should have cleared 10+3 Diploma (Any subject) from any recognised by Central/State Govt or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics.
Applicants having International Baccalaureate Diploma after completing the 10 years of Schooling with Mathematics are also eligible to apply for NATA 2019.
Note: It is important for aspirants to note that qualifying in NATA 2019 is not the only parameter for their admission to any architecture course. They must conform to all the requirements as specified by respective counselling and admission authorities.
