
JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria 2025: The Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Delhi, releases the JAC Delhi 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in before the counselling session. The eligibility criteria of JAC Delhi 2025 will be provided in the information brochure released by JAC Delhi. Candidates seeking BTech admission based on JEE Main Scores through JAC Delhi counselling 2025 must fulfil the JAC Delhi eligibility criteria 2025, failing which they will not be able to get a seat as per the JAC Delhi seat allotment 2025.
JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria 2025 comprise age, educational qualification, nativity, domicile, and category. Candidates participating in the JAC Delhi counselling process 2025 must be aware of the JAC Delhi eligibility criteria 2025 before registering for JAC Delhi Counselling 2025. Candidates are provided admission based on their JEE Main 2025 rank.

Minimum Educational Qualification
The candidates must have cleared their senior secondary exam from CBSE or any other recognized board. However, candidates who have qualified their class 12 exam in 2025 and have been placed in the compartment (supplementary) are not eligible for admission in the academic year of 2025.
Minimum Age
JAC has not specified any minimum or maximum age limit required for participation in JAC Delhi counselling 2025.
Institute-wise Eligibility Criteria
For admission into the B. Tech courses offered by Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) and Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), a candidate must have secured 60% or more marks in an aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and must have English as a subject of study in their qualifying examination. Candidates should also have a valid JEE Main 2025 Rank (Paper – 1) to be eligible for admission. Candidates must pass each subject individually.
For admission to Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi , a candidate must have secured 70% or more marks in the aggregate of the best of five subjects comprising Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics along with 70% or more in Mathematics in the qualifying examination. Also, candidates must have a valid JEE Main 2025 Rank (Paper – 1) to be eligible for admission.
Region-wise Eligibility
Candidates participating in JAC Delhi counselling 2025 are based on two regions, i.e., candidates residing and applying from the Delhi Region and candidates residing and applying from outside the Delhi Region.
- Delhi Region Candidates: Candidates who have qualified their qualifying examination from a recognized school/ college/ institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi fall under this category. 85% of the seats are reserved for such candidates
- Outside Delhi Region Candidates: Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from a recognized school/ college/ institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi come under this category. 15% of the seats are reserved for such candidates.
Minimum Marks Criteria for Reserved Category Candidates
IGDTUW, DTU, NSUT and DSEU
- OBC-NCL (Other Backward Class): Candidates from the OBC category are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualifying marks in their qualifying examination
- Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST): Candidates from the SC & ST category are eligible for a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum qualifying marks in their qualifying examination
- Differently-abled person: Candidates belonging to this category are eligible for a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum qualifying marks criteria
- Defence: Such candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualifying marks criteria
IIIT-Delhi
- OBC-NCL (Other Backward Class): Candidates from the OBC category are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualifying marks in their qualifying examination
- Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST): Candidates from the SC and ST category are eligible for a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum qualifying marks in their qualifying examination
- Differently-abled person: Differently-abled candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualifying marks criteria
- Defence: Such candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualifying marks criteria
