• For the National Institute of Design - Design Aptitude Test (NID-DAT), candidates from any stream will be considered eligible for the entrance examination.

Academic Qualification

• The candidate must have qualified 10+2 from an institute approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

• The candidate must have obtained not less than 50% aggregate marks in 12th standard.

All the candidates seeking admission to the B.Des course must apply online through the official website of CEE, Kerala.

• Find the link “ “Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Course 2022 - Online Application” and click on it.

• Register yourself by entering your mobile number, email ID and creating a password. This will general a unique application number which will be displayed on the screen.

• Fill the application form. It is advised that candidates keep all the relevant documents handy while filling it in.

• Pay the online application through two payment methods- Online Payment or e-Challan.

• Upload signature and a photograph of the candidate along with other required documents and certificates.

• After uploading all the necessary documents/certificates, take a printout of the confirmation page.

Kerala B.Des Selection Process 2022

B.Des admission or the selection of a B.Des aspirant in the state of Kerala shall be done through design entrance exams like UCEED, NID DAT (Mains) and NATA. The ranking for admission shall be based on marks secured in class 12 marks. B.Des colleges in Kerala must abide by the reservation policies of the Kerala government. The competent authorities will offer reservations to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ SEBC/ OEC candidates who satisfy the following conditions:

• The caste/community of the father will be considered to prove the candidate’s caste who is a child of an inter-caste married couple. He/she will be eligible for educational benefits eligible to SC/STs in the state of Kerala and must be allowed to receive all the educational benefits until the end of the B.Des course.

• While General category candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs. 500, SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 200 only.

• The SC/ST candidates must have an original community certificate obtained from the Revenue officer who is not below the rank of Tahsildar.

• The SEBC/OEC candidates must obtain an original Non-Creamy layer certificate from the Village Officer concerned in the available proforma.
