Quick Checklist Before You Leave Home

Before leaving for counselling, spend 10 minutes doing all this:

  • There should be two separate folders. All original papers go in the 'originals' folder and all photocopied papers in the 'photocopies' folder.
  • Do one thing: make extra copies of important things like your rank card and degree.
  • Do not forget to check if your category certificate is still valid (especially OBC-NCL); this is a very important step.
  • Also, verify your internship completion dates and match the requirements for counselling.
  • Keep some extra passport photos.
  • Carry a pen and a small stapler (seriously, this helps).
  • Screenshot everything from the counselling portal on your phone as backup.

The list looks long, but most of these documents should already be in your MBBS possession. Organise everything one to two days before counselling, making photocopies of the same, and verify with the institute allotted to you for any specific requirements in their list. Remember that carrying something extra is always a better option than realising that you are missing something when you are already there. All the best for the counselling and the rest of your postgraduate journey!

Are you feeling lost and unsure about what career path to take after completing 12th standard?

Say goodbye to confusion and hello to a bright future!

Lovely Professional University (LPU), but I can say LPU is best for an MS in Psychological Counseling. LPU offers a postgraduate program designed to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills in counseling, mental health assessment, and therapeutic interventions. Candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree, and completing a PGDPC makes you eligible for advanced coursework and practical training. The program emphasizes research, hands-on counseling experience, and skill development, preparing graduates for careers as professional counselors, therapists, or for further academic pursuits in psychology.

Dear Student,

With a rank of 68,000 in NEET PG, getting a seat in highly competitive specialities like Radiotherapy or Pathology in a top government college under AIQ is very unlikely, because past closing ranks for these branches have been much higher or much better ranks in many colleges.
