WBJEE 2024 Choice Filling: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to conduct the WBJEE choice filling 2024 from July 17 to 23, 2024. The WBJEE 2024 choice filling will be done in the online mode at wbjeeb.nic.in. The choice filling of WBJEE 2024 for qualified candidates will be held separately for rounds 1 and 2 and for the mop-up round. Candidates who will clear the WBJEE exam 2024 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. JEE Main qualified candidates can also participate in the counselling and choice-filling process. During the choice-filling process, candidates need to provide the name of their preferred WBJEE participating colleges in which they wish to take admission. What is WBJEE 2024 Choice Filling?

The choice filling is a process where the candidates need to choose the colleges from the list of WBJEE participating colleges 2024. Apart from the institute, the candidates will also have to choose the B.Tech branch in which he/ she wants to get admission. Only those candidates who exercise the choices through the choice filling process will be eligible for the seat allotment.

WBJEE 2024 Choice Locking Process

After filling in the choices as per the candidates, they will have to click on ‘Lock’ option to confirm the choices. The candidates will have to lock the choices within the specified dates as mentioned. If the candidates fail to lock the choices before the last date, his/ her choices will be locked automatically. Once the choices are locked, the candidates will not be allowed to make changes.

How to Upgrade WBJEE 2024 College Preference?

After the Round 1 seat allotment, the candidates will be allowed to upgrade their college preferences. The candidates will have to log in on the specified date and make changes in the priority numbers and choose more colleges. Candidates can also make changes in branch preference.

WBJEE Counselling Process 2024

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will commence the WBJEE 2024 counselling process soon. The counselling will be conducted in 3 rounds. Candidates who will pass in the WBJEE 2024 exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling. The WBJEE counselling 2024 includes 3 phases: registration for counselling, choice filling, and payment of fees. To take part in the counselling, candidates have to complete the online counselling registration for which documents like WBJEE rank card, class 10+2 marksheets, admit card, caste certificates, passport size photograph, candidate signature and fee payment is required. After the counselling process, the authorities will release the seat allotment result. 

WBJEE Seat Allotment 2024

The WBJEE seat allocation 2024 will start once the result for academic year 2024 is released. Candidates will be given a seat based on their performance, preferences, and the number of seats available. Candidates who receive a GMR score on the WBJEE are qualified to participate in the seat allocation procedure. Also, those candidates who have All India Rank are eligible to take part in the round of seat allocation against the 10% sanctioned seats.
