Will NEET MDS 2024 be Postponed to July?

NEET MDS 2024 Exam Postponed to March 18, 2024 is still a topic of concern for students who are preparing for the exam. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery was previously going to be conducted on February 9, 2024, but recently the dates were revised by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Aspirants are still not satisfied with the revised NEET MDS 2024 exam date, and they urge the concerned authorities to shift the exam date to July 2024. Students have reached out to the honourable Prime Minister of India requesting the postponement of NEET MDS 2024 exam.

According to the All India Students Dental Association/DENTODON, "8000+ people signed a petition to #PostponeNEETMDS2024toJULY If any exam is conducted the government bodies make sure it's favorable to all.” Candidates should note that the NEET MDS 2024 exam date was recently postponed i.e. on January 20, 2024, so it is highly unlikely that the exam date will be shifted again. NEET MDS Application Form 2024 was released on January 30, 2024, and it is available on the official website of NBEMS. Students are advised to prepare for the March 18, 2024 exam itself.

NEET MDS 2024 Postponement to July: Latest Update

NBEMS is yet to release any official statement regarding the petition raised on social media platforms. Aspirants are using Twitter as a medium to raise their voices for the postponement of NEET MDS 2024 exam.Students are demanding equal opportunities and the same preparation time as NEET PG aspirants receive. The postponement of NEET MDS to March and NEET PG to July has generated tension among the student community. More than 8000 students have signed a petition under the hashtag #PostponeNEETMDS2024toJULY.

Candidates are tagging the Minister of Health and Family Welfare (MHFW) of India; Dr Mansukh Mandaviya in the tweets. They are eagerly waiting for the response from either NBEMS or the MHFW.

• The postponement of NEET PG to July is being set as an example to urge the concerned authorities to postpone NEET MDS 2024 to July as well.

• Aspirants want to push the NEET MDS to June or July because they need more time for preparation. Since the exam conducting body is the same for NEET MDS and NEET PG, students are in a state of comparison when it comes to providing 3 to 4 months of additional time for preparation to NEET PG 2024 aspirants.

As of now, no official date for July has been released. Along with regular social media posts and tweets, students are also making videos and posting them on Twitter (X). The Minister of Health and Family Welfare (MHFW) and the National Board of Examination (NBEMS) are being called out for an explanation but they are yet to respond. Aspirants should note that no official statement regarding the NEET MDS 2024 Postponement to July has been released yet so they should meanwhile prepare for the exam scheduled for March 18, 2024 only. Candidates must go through the NEET MDS 2024 Eligibility Criteria and stay well-versed with the exam pattern and syllabus before filling out the application form, which is anticipated to be released in the 1st week of February 2024.
