Assam CEE 2025 Passing Marks: How are marks calculated?

Assam CEE 2025 Passing Marks: Tie-Breaking Rule for B. Tech Admissions

DTE applies the tier-breaker rule if two or more candidates end up scoring the same marks in the Assam CEE 2025 exam. In such cases, to determine the rank of the candidates, the following shall be implemented in order of preference:

• The PCM aggregate of Class 12 shall be considered to shortlist candidates

• If a tie exists, then the combined aggregate of PCM shall be considered.

• If the tie still persists, then DTE will give preference to the highest marks scored in Mathematics. If the tie still exists, the highest marks obtained in physics, followed by chemistry, Date of Birth, and alphabetical order of names, are taken into account sequentially.
  

Assam CEE 2025 Result

The Assam Science and Technology University has released the Assam CEE 2025 result on the official website of the exam on May 15, 2025. Candidates can check their results on the official website astu.ac.in. Candidates can download their rank card with the help of the application number and password. The CEE rank card should be downloaded by the candidates as it will be needed during the counselling process. Candidates can go to the official website of the exam and tap on the CEE 2025 rank card link, and fill in the application number and password. Lastly, tap on the view rank card button, and the rank card will appear on the screen. The CEE 2025 rank card is generated on the basis of the total marks secured in all three subjects in the exam.

Assam CEE 2025 Counselling

The counselling process for Assam CEE 2025 will begin soon. Candidates who have managed to obtain the minimum Assam CEE 2025 Passing Marks will have to register online to enroll for admission to the participating institutes. Candidates can choose their preferred colleges and courses as per their ranks. However, it must be noted that securing the minimum cutoff does not guarantee admission to these colleges.
