Assam CEE 2024 counselling process will commence tentatively from the last week of June, 2024 by Directorate of Technical Education on its official website. Candidates who have qualified the Assam CEE 2024 exam are eligible to take part in the Assam CEE counselling 2024 process. Every student participating in the counselling of Assam CEE 2024 must register and fill their choices of their preferred course and college. As per the choices marked by the candidates, the authorities will release the Assam CEE seat allotment 2024 result. Students allotted seats must download the seat allotment letter and complete their document upload process within the stipulated deadline. Assam CEE Counselling 2024 - Detailed Procedure

The candidates whose names are displayed in the merit list are given the opportunity to participate in the counselling process of Assam CEE. Let’s look at some of the important processes required for Assam CEE 2024 Counselling.

Registration Process:

• The first step towards a successful counselling process for Assam CEE 2024 is to get yourself registered at the designated counselling centre allotted by the concerned authority

• Download the counselling form from the official website and take the print of it

• Fill in the details like roll number, the name of the candidate, name of the examination, date of birth, marks obtained in Assam CEE 2022, educational qualification, documents to be submitted, nationality, etc

• In Form B, candidates must also fill in three courses as per their preference, in the order assigned by the counselling conducting authority of Assam CEE 2024

• Submit the form to the concerned authority

Document Verification:

• Along with the registration form, candidates must submit the asked documents

• After the registration process gets over, candidates will be called for document verification individually

• Candidates must keep all the original documents, photocopies of which have been submitted along with Form B

Fee Submission:

• Candidates will be asked to pay the counselling fee at the time of the counselling

• A non-refundable sum of Rs 600 is to be paid by the candidates at the counselling centre

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment:

• Candidates will have to fill in the choice of course and institution as per their preferences mentioned in Form B

• Seats will be allotted on the basis of the marks scored, seat availability and preferences filled by the candidates

• It is important for candidates to know that confirmation of the seat allotment will be given only after the completion of the seat allocation process

Reporting and Admission:

• For the final admission process, candidates must report to the allotted college at least 30 minutes before the given time

• Take all the required documentation along with recent passport-size photographs

• Candidates must complete the admission procedure within the specified date and time prescribed by the concerned authority

Note:

• Candidates who wish to change or transfer the institution can do so by filling out the ‘Institution Preference Form’ denoting their order of preferences.

• Candidates must also know that seats in the changed or transferred institution will be allotted only if there are vacant seats either due to no allotment done against that seat or withdrawal of the candidates. Marks scored in Assam CEE will also play a vital role in the transfer process.

Documents Required During Assam CEE 2024 Counselling

Candidates must ensure to bring the following documents with them during the counselling process:

• Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) (to be issued by D.C./S.D.O.(Civil) of concerning District/Sub-Division)

• Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)

• Assam CEE admit card 2024

• Class 10 Admit Card or Pass Certificate for Age Proof issued by Board/Council

• Class 10 Mark sheet

• Class 12 Admit Card

• Class 12 Mark sheet

• Academic Gap Certificate (if applicable)

• Character Certificate from Head of the Institution last attended.

• 4 recent passport-size photograph
