The best way to attempt the JEE Main exam 2026 is to practice time management per section, time management per question, answering the direct question first, followed by difficult questions. The best way to attempt the JEE Main 2026 Physics Section is to focus on solving easy direct formula-based questions in the first 20 minutes and solving moderate-length problems in the next 25  minutes and the last 10 minutes for the toughest questions and reviewing the answered questions. Time Management in JEE Main 2026

The JEE Main is conducted for a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes). To attempt all the questions, you have to divide the time as per the sections. Check the time management technique for the JEE Main 2026 below:

  • Time Management Per Section: You will have approximately 60 minutes to complete all the questions in a section. Therefore, you will have to adjust the time by starting with your strength.   • T ime Management Per Question: Take approx. 1.5 to 2 minutes for MCQ and 3 to 4 minutes for numericals. Avoid wasting time by trying to solve the question by taking more time, or you will end up losing the question at the end
