Do’s and Don’ts after AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 2022 Seat Allotment

AP EAMCET 2021 first round seat allotment result, as when it will be released, the candidates will have five days to confirm the admission by completing reporting formalities. The reporting process now is divided into two stages viz., online self-reporting and physical reporting. Candidates who secured admission must complete the two stages in the reporting process to be eligible for admission. Students might have certain doubts or queries with regard to the procedure to be followed after the seat allotment. In addition, candidates who did not get admission in Round 1 need not worry, as final phase counselling will also be conducted. On this page, you can check some do’s and don’ts to be followed after the seat allotment of AP EAPCET 2022.

Do’s after AP EAMCET 2022 Seat Allotment

After checking the seat allotment result of AP EAPCET 2022, here are certain activities that the candidates need to follow –

  • If you are satisfied with the college allotment, complete the online self-reporting first and download the provisional seat allotment letter. It is mandatory to carry the provisional seat allotment letter at the time of physical reporting at college

  • Candidates proceeding with physical reporting must note that it is important to carry the original and xerox copies of all documents that were uploaded at the time of registration

  • The seat allotment letter will have the total first-year that has to be paid, and the candidates need to pay the fee directly at the college

  • Candidates who did not get an allotment in the first round can wait for final phase counselling or proceed with Category B (management quota) admission process

  • If you are not satisfied with the college allotment in Round 1, you can just reject the allotment and wait for the final phase of counselling. Once rejected, the seat cannot be retained

  • If you are looking for a better course option in final phase counselling, make sure that you check the previous years’ closing ranks of AP EAMCET and exercise the web options

  • If you did not get an allotment as per first choice in Round 1, you can either accept the seat or wait for final phase counselling

  • CSE admission in top colleges will mostly be closed in Round 1, and the chances of admission in final phase counselling are limited. Therefore, the candidates need to exercise the web options in the last phase accordingly

  • If your aim is to secure CSE admission in top colleges and failed to get a seat in Round 1 counselling, it is advisable to go for Category B (Management Quota) admission. The online registration for the same closes on November 11.

Don’ts after AP EAMCET 2022 Seat Allotment

Here are the activities that the candidates must refrain from after the AP EAMCET 2022 seat allotment –

  • Do not wait till the last date to complete the reporting process (online & physical)

  • If you did not get admission in Round 1, do not exercise the web options in the final phase without checking the previous years’ closing ranks

  • As CSE in top colleges is closed in Round 1 (mostly), do not aim for the same college as the first option in the final phase. For example, you chose VR Siddhartha CSE as the first option in Round 1 and did not get admission. In such cases, opt for a different college as the first option in the final phase

  • Do not proceed with physical reporting without completing the online self-reporting process

  • Do not attend the physical reporting without required documents and seat allotment letter

  • The tuition fee has been fixed by APSCHE and it is printed on the seat allotment. Therefore, the candidates are advised to not pay any additional tuition fee other than the amount specified on the seat allotment letter
