GATE 2022 Statistics Cutoff

GATE 2023 : IIT Kanpur will release the cutoff of GATE 2023 exam once the exam is over. The result of GATE 2023 exam is scheduled to be released on March 16, 2023 . Statistics is one of the papers in the GATE exam which was introduced in 2019. Based on the cutoff of GATE Statistics 2023, the candidates will be allotted seats for admission into the M.Tech programmes offered at the top engineering institutes. In most Indian states, just having a BTech degree is not enough to appear for TET or DSC. You usually need a proper teaching course like B.Ed or D.El.Ed along with it.

This isn’t about how “big” or “small” your degree is. It’s about teacher training. A BTech gives you technical knowledge, but it does not train you to teach students in a classroom. That’s why, even if BTech is a higher degree, it is not considered a teaching qualification. States want teachers who are trained specifically for teaching, which is why they insist on B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
