The NEET UG 2026 application process began on February 8, 2026, and the last date to apply has been extended till March 11, 2026. The NTA will conduct the NEET UG 2026 exam on May 3, 2026, in offline mode as per the past years’ trends. The registration process will be conducted to offer MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other UG medical courses to students. It is estimated that over 23 lakh students may apply for the NEET 2026 Registration this year.

Steps to Fill NEET UG 2026 Application Form

Students can follow the steps mentioned here to complete the NEET UG 2026 application form fill-up process without any confusion:
  • You will have to register on the official website of NEET 2026 at neet.nta.nic.in, and create an account by using your mobile number and email ID.
  • Once you have the registration credentials generated, you have to log in to the student portal and click on the direct registration link.
  • The application form must be filled in with your personal details, academic information, preferred exam centre, and the language medium of the exam.
  • After all the details have been mentioned, you will have to upload all the required documents in the specified size and format.
  • To confirm the registration form submission, you will be asked to pay the registration fee via credit card, debit card, netbanking or UPI payment method.
  • In the final step, all the applicants must download a copy of the registration confirmation page for future reference. A copy of the confirmation will be sent to the registration email address as well.

NEET UG 2026 Registration Eligibility Criteria

The NEET UG 2026 eligibility criteria for the application process have been mentioned here in brief for reference:
  • Students must be at least 17 years of age to apply for the NEET UG 2026 exam.
  • Those who have completed their Class 12th education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English as core subjects will be allowed to apply for the application process.
  • Students must secure at least 50% marks for General/ EWS, 45% marks for PwD, and 40% marks for SC/ ST in the qualifying exam to be eligible for NEET registration.
