PESSAT Eligibility Criteria for BDes Admission 2024

Before filling the application form of PESSAT for BDes admissions, it is crucial to make sure that you fulfil the requirements prescribed by the PES University.   • The aspirant must have secured a rank in the UCEED exam conducted by the IDC of IIT-Bombay or must have acquired a valid score in the PESSAT DAT conducted by the PES University.

  • Step 1 . Go to the official website of PES University.
  • Step 2 . Then, students have to register themselves.
  • Step 3 . Enter name, course preference, e-mail ID, gender and date of birth.
  • Step 4 . After this, a unique login ID is generated for each candidate. The same will be sent to their registered e-mail address.
  • Step 5 . Candidates need to log in to the website again and fill out the credentials received.
  • Step 6 . Fill out the application form carefully and accurately with all personal and academic credentials.
  • Step 7 . Hit the 'Submit' button after double-checking all the details.
  • Step 8 . Then, upload the scanned copies of the signature and photograph in the requisite formats i.e., PNG/JPEG/JPG.
  • Step 9 . Pay the application fee of INR 1,050 either online or offline through net banking/debit card/credit card/demand draft/challan.
  • Step 10 . Candidates must note that only after the fee payment, the registration will be considered successful.

Selection Process for PESSAT BDes Admission 2024

Candidates are advised to go through the PESSAT eligibility criteria before applying for PESSAT for BDes admission. After filling out the application form, they can sit for this aptitude test. Refer to the selection process for the same below:

  • Candidates who have appeared for the UCEED exam need to register for the PESSAT. However, they don’t have to appear for this test. They just have to appear for the interview carrying their creative portfolio and hall ticket. The admission will be done by visiting the department of the university.
  • However, if candidates do not have a UCEED score and meet all the eligibility criteria, they can appear for the DAT (Design Aptitude Test) to get into PES University. After sitting for this entrance test, the personal interview round will be held on the same day by the Department of Architecture and Design.
  • If the candidate clears both, the DAT and the personal interview they will be able to qualify for the PESSAT for BDes admission.
  • Candidates have to bring along their creative portfolio for the interview round.
  • They will receive an e-mail or an SMS from the university declaring the confirmation of their candidature. The result will be released within 3 days after the aptitude test.
