Can I apply for LPU NEST 2020 phase 2 entrance exam as I am still pursuing 12th grade not yet to complete it in next couple of months?

- Keerthi AnandUpdated On June 28, 2025 11:06 AM

Yes, while working in year 12, you can apply for LPU Nest 2020 Phase 2. A great vocational university allows students to take the 12th year board exam and take the entrance exam in advance. Nevertheless, the final reception is preliminary until you spend 12th place on a mandatory assessment at a minimum of 12th place, in accordance with the program's acceptability criteria. At the time of reception, you will need to send your 12th brand sheet or certificate of acceptance. This policy provides early consideration of demand and scholarships, even before results are announced. To ensure the fluid hospitalization process, please inform your official LPU notification of changes to conditions, trials, or receipt requirements.

You can still apply for LPUNEST in Schedule 2. LPUNEST is the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programs in Lovely Professional University. This test serves as the basis for eligibility and scholarship for most programs, while for some programs, it is applicable only for scholarship purposes. LPUNEST fulfills both of these objectives. Additionally, if you have already qualified LPUNEST for eligibility, you can also improve your score for scholarship purposes. LPUNEST is one of the categories on which scholarships are offered for all programs. The amount of scholarship depends on the program's fee, date of admission, and the student's performance in LPUNEST. Admission to any program is contingent upon meeting the eligibility criteria for that program. To qualify for LPUNEST, a minimum of 40% marks are required, but for scholarship purposes, cut-offs must be met. The scholarship for a specific program is determined by the performance in LPUNEST and is divided into three categories: LPUNEST score equal to or higher than Category I cut-off, LPUNEST score equal to or higher than Category II cut-off, and LPUNEST score equal to or higher than Category III cut-off. These cut-offs depend on various parameters such as the number of students who appeared for the exam and the highest marks achieved. Furthermore, you will have two attempts to qualify LPUNEST, and there is no negative marking in this exam, increasing your chances of scoring well. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Yes, you can still apply for LPUNEST in Schedule 2. LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of Eligibility and Scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. So, this LPUNEST serves both the purposes. Also, if you have qualified LPUNEST for Eligibility purpose, you can also improve your score for Scholarship purpose as well. LPUNEST is one of the category on which Scholarship is offered as well for all the programmes. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPUNEST. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. For qualifying the LPUNEST, around 40% marks are required but for Scholarship purpose, cut-offs are required to be qualified for LPUNEST. Scholarship for a specific Programme depends on Performance in LPUNEST. There are three brackets: LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category I cut-off LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category II cut-off LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category III cut-off This cut off depends on various parameters like number of students appeared, highest marks in the exam and many more. Also, you will get two attempts to qualify LPUNEST and there is no negative marking in this exam so chances of scoring well are more in this. LPUNEST is one of the category on which Scholarship is offered as well for all the programmes. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPUNEST. As per the website, Last Date of submission of Application for LPUNEST - 30th April 2021. Hi, the last phase of LPUNEST is currently underway, you can apply before it ends.FYI, Admission applications for 2021 new batch also will be out in January month most probably so decide what suits you best and without wasting any time take wise decision.Recently I come across LPU counselor guidelines and gathered information to admit my younger brother at LPU. Admissions in LPU is done in different Phases not for any particular course but for all courses LPU offers, which are bifurcations of the Admission time period. Phase 1 starts as early as January and continues till the end of April, notifications for LPUNEST exam in every admisison session get out in November or december month also. For confirmation you need to keep checking LPU official website- https://www.lpu.in/ The subsequent phases (Phase 2, 3, 4....) are conducted only if the seats in the concerned Programme remain vacant. As per different phases LPU scholarship bracket decreases so it's advisable to follow first come first serve with maximum benefits. Recently I heard that due to covid 19 situation LPU admission session 2020 admissions are extended following UGC guidelines and will get over soon(Phase 5).In every phase LPUNEST is conducted and applications are still filling up for the 2020 admission session by freshers. Note-You can give LPUNEST two times if required due to unsatsfied performance in 1st attempt. I hope you get your answer well.
