How much Percentile is Required for NIT: Admission to various National Institute of Technology is completely based on the percentile score of the students in the JEE Main 2024 exam. One common question among students is that admission to NIT is based on which examination? The National Testing Agency uses the normalisation method in order to derive the percentile score of the students in the JEE Main exam. Moreover, the JEE Main result 2024 is also declared on the basis of the percentile scores of the candidates. 

Securing a seat in one of the NITs is a dream from many candidates. Therefore it becomes imperative for every candidate to know about how much percentile is required for NIT admission. How to get admission in NIT? Securing the minimum percentile required for NIT admission is a challenging task due to the level of competition and the difficulty level of the JEE Main examination. However with proper determination, will and strategised preparation candidates can easily secure a seat in one of the top-notch NITs in the country. As per the previous year trends and analysis a candidate must secure a percentile range between 99.9946 - 98.9902 to get a seat and college of their choice.
