BITSAT merit list 2019 will determine the fate of those candidates who have appeared for the BITSAT 2019 entrance exam that whether or not they are eligible for admission into engineering courses offered at BITS Goa, Hyderabad and Pilani campuses. The BITSAT 2019 merit list will be prepared according to the scores obtained by the test takers in the BITSAT entrance examination. The merit list for BITSAT 2019 will contain the names of those candidates who have appeared in the BITSAT 2019 exam and have submitted their documents and requisite fees along with their application form.
For the purpose of admission, two separate BITSAT 2019 merit lists will be prepared. One merit list will be prepared for admission to all the courses except for B.Pharm while the other merit list will be solely for the purpose of B.Pharm.
In case of a tie, a tie-breaker methodology will be implemented to determine whose name will appear above the other in the BITSAT 2019 merit list.
BITSAT 2019 was conducted between 16 and 26 May 2019 and the merit list for the same is expected to be available on the official website from 20 June 2019 onwards. BITSAT 2019 Merit List Tie-Breaking Policy
The BITSAT 2019 merit list tie-breaking methodology will come into effect when there are two or more candidates who have the same marks in the BITSAT 2019 entrance examination. The tie-breaking methodology to prepare the BITSAT 2019 merit list will be done in the following order:

The marks obtained by the candidates in Biology or Mathematics in BITSAT 2019 will be compared first (for B.Pharm)

The marks obtained by the candidates in Physics will be compared if the tie still exists

The marks obtained by the candidates in Chemistry will be compared next

Finally, the marks obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology combined at 10+2 level will be compared
