The BITSAT 2020 seat allotment, similar to the counselling process, will be conducted in online mode. BITS usually conducts six rounds (iterations) of BITSAT counselling process followed by the seat allotment process and no changes are expected in the upcoming year.
The seat allotment to the candidates will be done on the basis of three things - scores obtained by the test-takers in the entrance exam, preferences submitted by the candidates and number of available seats. Central Board and State toppers will be given direct admissions at the BITS campuses.
To confirm the seats allocated to them, the candidates have to submit the seat confirmation fee within the given deadline. There will be a waiting list as well and those candidates whose names will be on the waiting list will have the opportunity of securing seats in the subsequent BITSAT seat allotment rounds.
