Instructions to Upload Signature in GATE Application Form 2025: GATE registration 2025 with late fees has been completed on October 11, 2024. The GATE 2025 application form correction window has been extended to November 22, 2024, for PwD students. During the GATE 2025 registration process, it is mandatory for all candidates to upload their signatures. The specifications of the signatures must be as per the guidelines. The candidate's signature in the exam hall must match the one submitted. If not, they could be disqualified. 1. Dimensions of the Signature

2. Colour of Signature

During the GATE 2025 documents uploading, the colour of the signature also matters. The candidate's signature must be in black or dark blue ink. Therefore, applicants are strictly restristred from taking their signature in other colour, glitter or marker pens.

3. Signature Size

The file size of the signature while uploading during the GATE registration must be at least 3 KB and not exceed 1 MB. Candidates can use various online tools to decrease the size of the singular. However, they must make sure that it is as per the expected dimensions and pixels.

4. Signature Resolution and Pixels

IIT Roorkee has given guidelines regarding GATE 2025 signature pixels and resolutions. The highest resolution of the signature should be 580 × 180 pixels, while the minimum resolution should be 250 × 80 pixels.

5. Signature Type

The authorities will not accept all bold-type signatures. If the candidate's signature proceeds outside the rectangle, it will not be accepted. The signature should not be very light, invisible, or hazy. Appliants must use proper ink so that the signature is visible properly. A very small signature will not be considered. Candidates have to do a proper signature not just write their name in bold letters. The signature for the GATE application form 2025 can be in Hindi or English.

How to Set a Signature for the GATE 2025 Exam?

To get a signature for the GATE 2025 exam, candidates should draw a box measuring 2 cm x 7 cm on A4 paper. The signature should fit in the box. It should be in the candidate's own handwriting.
