Does IIT come under the JoSAA 2025 counselling process?

Yes. JoSAA manages the admissions process for providing admissions across the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and the Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

What JEE Main exam rank is required for securing admission into the IITs?

In the JoSAA choice filling process 2025, candidates are allowed to enter and arrange their choices of institutes and colleges according to their wish to be admitted to. Tech course across the NITs, GFTIs, IIITs and IITs. Admission into these institutes is determined by the JEE Main 2025 entrance exam scores.

What is the minimum percentile required for participating in the JoSAA counselling process 2025?

Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following two criteria: Must have qualified and secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination and the aggregate marks for the SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
