In the application form, details such as name, father’s name, NEET Roll Number, Educational Qualifications etc. are asked. It is advisable to ensure that the information provided is correct. Lastly, candidates must pay the registration fee to submit the Application Form.

Stage 2: Submission of Documents for Verification

Candidates must have self-attested copies of the necessary documents ready when they begin filling out the application form. These documents are required by the Jharkhand NEET Colleges to check a candidate’s date of birth, educational qualifications and other credentials. Further, candidates must ensure that they keep the original copies safely with them as the same is required to be produced for physical verification at the allotted colleges

Stage 3: Jharkhand NEET 2023 Merit List

Jharkhand NEET 2023 Merit List is announced by JCECEB on its official website. The Jharkhand Rank List 2023 is based on NEET UG Scores and the seat matrix of medical colleges in the state. Only those candidates who appear in the NEET Merit List 2023 are eligible to take part in the Counselling Rounds.

Stage 4: Jharkhand NEET 2023 Counselling Rounds and Choice Filling

Jharkhand NEET 2023 Counselling consists of primarily two rounds. In case qualified candidates are not allotted any seats, Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round are also conducted by the JCECEB.

Round 1:

Candidates who appear in the Jharkhand NEET 2023 Merit List can take part in Round 1 of the Counselling process. Students can now exercise their choice of course and college and rank them in order of their preference. It is advisable that the candidates exercise their choice carefully as their preference decides the college that they are ultimately allotted.

Round 2:

Candidates who didn’t register for Round 1 of the Counselling process can participate in Round 2. Additionally, aspirants who weren’t allocated any MBBS/BDS seats in Round 1 are also eligible to apply for Round 2. However, such candidates need not register themselves again. Much like Round 1, students are required to fill in their choice of college and course according to their preference.

Round 3 (Mop-Up Round):

In case students were not allotted any MBBS/BDS college in either Round 1 or Round 2, they can now participate in the Mopu-Up Round. Fresh registrations are also allowed in this round. Eligible candidates can fill in their choices for NEET UG Colleges.

Round 4 (Stray Vacancy Round):

Under the Stray Vacancy Round, only candidates who have not been allotted any seats in the previous rounds can participate. No fresh registrations are allowed in this round.

Stage 5: Admission Allotment and Payment of Tuition Fees

Eligible students will now be offered admission into Medical Colleges in Jharkhand on the basis of the State Merit List, NEET UG 2023 Scorecard and the choice filled by the candidate. Post the seat allotment, students are required to pay the tuition fees of the allotted colleges. It is advisable to pay the tuition fees within the specified time to avoid the cancellation of admission offered by the college.

Stage 6: Physical Verification of Documents

Lastly, the candidates must report to their allotted colleges for physical verification of documents. In case any student fails to report to the college within the stipulated time period, his/her admission offer can be rejected by the Counselling committees of the respective colleges.

Dear Student, For admission to the BVSc at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar, the expected ranks vary by category. If you're a general category candidate, aim for a rank within 500 to 1000. For OBC candidates, the range is 600 to 1200. SC candidates should ideally secure a rank between 1500 and 2000, and for ST candidates, the rank should be between 2700 and 3200. As the actual cutoff ranks can vary each year, striving for a high rank in the entrance exam conducted by the university will increase your chances of admission. Best of luck!
