Following are the eligibility criteria for Kerala Polytechnic admission 2023 every candidate must meet in order to be admitted to the Polytechnic/Diploma Courses in Kerala.

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India

  • The candidate must be a Kerala resident or have completed the qualifying examination at a Kerala-based institution

  • The candidate must have completed the SSC, THSLC, or an equivalent test

  • Candidates must have received passing grades in math, English, and science

  • The marks/grades acquired in Science are used to calculate grades in place of Physics and Chemistry for CBSE/ICSE/Open school applicants

  • Candidates for the courses must have completed a qualifying examination with Mathematics as a subject from a reputed CBSE school

  • Senior Secondary Level Certificate SSLC

  • Compulsory subjects in SSC are Mathematics, Science, and English

The State Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (SITTTR) allocates merit-based seats. Merit-based seats are available in both Government-Aided Polytechnic Colleges and Private Self-Financed Polytechnic Colleges.

These seats are filled by the concerned management. 15% intake of each branch is reserved under this category. The seats are allotted on the basis of the eligibility criteria. Management Seats in Self-Financing Programmes:

These seats are filled by the concerned management in the Self-Financing programmes which are offered in both Self-Financing Colleges and select aided polytechnic colleges. Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria are only allotted seats.
