Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2022 - The DTE Kerala has released the third seat allotment on September 20, 2022, on its official website www.dtekerala.gov.in. The second seat allotment for Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2022 was released on September 13, 2022. The deadline for reporting for admission through the second allocation is September 17, 2022. On August 30, 2022, the DTE Kerala announced the first seat allotment for Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2022, along with the final rank list. For the first allocation, the deadline to report to/join the assigned college was September 3, 2022. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) published the Kerala Polytechnic Rank List along with the trial allotment list on August 24, 2022. Candidates who have successfully registered were able to download the using their registered log id. Candidates who are dissatisfied with the Kerala Polytechnic seat allotment results and the rank list can file a complaint and change their institute selections before the deadline; of August 27, 2022.

Kerala Polytechnic 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Following are the eligibility criteria for Kerala polytechnic admission 2022:Every candidate must meet the following eligibility requirements imposed by the administration in order to be admitted to the Polytechnic/Diploma Courses in Kerala.

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India
  • The candidate must be a Kerala resident or have completed the qualifying examination at a Kerala-based institution
  • The candidate must have completed the SSC, THSLC, or an equivalent test
  • Candidates must have received passing grades in math, English, and science
  • The marks/grades acquired in Science are used to calculate grades in place of Physics and Chemistry for CBSE/ICSE/Open school applicants
  • Candidates for the courses must have completed a qualifying examination with Mathematics-Standard from a CBSE school
  • Senior Secondary Level Certificate SSLC
  • Compulsory subjects in SSC are Mathematics, Science, and English

Kerala Polytechnic Admission Process 2022

There is no entrance examination for Kerala polytechnic admission 2022. Admission is on the basis of merit. Go through the following points to apply for Kerala Polytechnic admission 2022.

Fill the Application Form:

Department of Technical Education, Government of Kerala issues the official notification for admission in diploma courses on the official website. Candidates must visit the official website of the Department of Technical Education, Government of Kerala and fill the application in online mode.

Submit the Application Form:

Once the application is filled in online mode, candidates must take a printout of the application and get it self attested along with the other required documents.

Register the hardcopy of the application at any Government/Aided Polytechnic Colleges in the state and pay the required application fees.

Application Fees:

Candidates must submit application fees to complete the application process. It is Rs. 200 for General Category and Rs. 100 for ST/ SC Categories.

Following are the documents that need to be produced at the time of Kerala polytechnic admission 2022:

  • Original SSLC/THSLC certificate or equivalent examination

  • Original Mark sheet of qualifying examination SSLC/ THSLC or equivalent along with a Photocopy

Kerala Polytechnic Seat Allotment 2022

The seat allotment for Kerala polytechnic 2022 is mentioned below:

Merit Seats:

The State Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (SITTTR) allocates merit-based seats. Merit-based seats are available in both Government-Aided Polytechnic Colleges and Private Self-Financed Polytechnic Colleges.

Management Seats:

These seats are filled by the concerned management. 15% intake of each branch is reserved under this category. The seats are allotted on the basis of the eligibility criteria. The list of candidates who are allotted these seats must be approved by the Regional Joint Director or the Deputy Director of the respective region.

Management Seats in Self Financing Programmes:

These seats are filled by the concerned management in the Self-Financing programmes which are offered in both Self-Financing Colleges and select aided polytechnic colleges. Students who fulfil the eligibility criteria are only allotted seats.
