MICAT 2022 Exam Day Instructions and COVID-19 Guidelines

MICAT II will be conducted on January 29, 2022. It is a computer-based MBA entrance exam held for 2 hours and 15 minutes. The MICAT Admissions Test (MICAT) 2022 is an entrance exam held for admission to the PGDM and PGDM-Communications courses of MICA Ahmedabad.

MICAT I 2021 was conducted on December 04, 2021. You have to go through 3 sections in the exam and answer a total of 234 questions. Apart from being well-aware of the MICAT 2022 Exam Pattern, it is also important to be prepared for the MICAT II 2022 Exam Day. Keeping your documents ready is one of the most important steps you must take well before the date of the exam.

MICAT 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

Go through these important instructions and guidelines for the MICAT 2022 Exam Day.

  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the test centre after the reporting time is over. It is best to arrive early to avoid any last-minute rush.

  • Download your MICAT II 2022 Admit Card and take its print out on a blank A4-size sheet. Make sure to carry a print out of your admit card to the exam centre. The authorities will verify your admit card before granting you entry to the exam centre.

  • You are required to carry one supporting ID proof along with your MICAT 2022 Admit Card. Given below is a list of supporting ID proofs considered valid.

    • Aadhar Card

    • Driving License

    • Voter ID

    • PAN Card

    • Passport

    • Valid Student ID Card

  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall until the entire duration of the test is over i.e before 11:15 am. In case you leave the exam hall during the exam, you will not be allowed to enter.

  • A separate sheet for rough work will be provided to all candidates at the exam centre. There is no requirement to carry any extra sheets with you to the centre.

  • You will be required to place your signature on the attendance sheet and admit card in the presence of the invigilator. The invigilator will also sign your admit card.

MICAT 2022 COVID-19 Guidelines

Candidates must follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the authorities to ensure a safe environment at the exam centres.

  • Ensure that you maintain a safe distance from the other candidates, invigilators at and around the exam centre.

  • Wear a face mask properly at all times.

  • Sanitize your hands after touching any foreign surface.

  • Avoid any unnecessary contact with anyone at the exam centre.

  • Avoid borrowing and lending of any personal items.

What are the things to be carried to the MICAT Exam Centre?

Candidates must carry the following items to the MICAT exam centre.

  • Print Out of their Admit Card

  • Any one of the ID Proofs

  • Ball Point Pen

  • Sanitizer (50 ml in a transparent bottle)

  • Face Mask

  • Transparent Water Bottle

What are the things not to be carried to the MICAT Exam Centre?

Do not carry any of the following prohibited items to the MICAT Exam Centre.

  • Mobile Phones

  • Digital Watches

  • Laptops

  • Calculators

  • Bags

  • Notebooks

  • Any electronic items

  • Sheets or pieces of Paper

Important Points for MICAT 2022 Exam Day

To succeed in any exam, you should have a good plan in mind of how to tackle the question paper on the exam day. Here are some of the important points that you must keep in mind.

  • Keep your mind relaxed and calm before the exam. You got this!

  • Start with the section you are most confident with. It will help you immensely even in the difficult questions ahead.

  • Do not spend too much time on any question. Spot the easy questions first and approach the difficult questions in the next pass.

  • Try to attempt all of the questions in the Psychometric Test.

  • Do not pick up any new topic in the last few days of the exam preparation.

  • Make sure to do a quick revision of the important formulas before the exam day.

  • Getting good sleep and having a healthy breakfast will give better results than panicking and staying up all night on exam day.
