BBA Eligibility Criteria at Delhi University

Students have to meet the following conditions to pursue BBA at DU or BBE courses. The eligibility criteria for DU BBA admission for different colleges may vary. All the students have to fill out the CUET UG application form as the first phase selection is made by its Score. Here are the eligibility criteria to apply for CUET UG 2024 exam:

  • All the candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board.

  • Candidates with 50% or above in Class 12 final examinations are eligible to apply for the CUET UG exam.

  • Reserved category students are required to have 45% or above in their senior secondary examination.

  • Students with a compartment in any subject are not eligible for CUET UG and, hence, are not eligible for DU colleges for BBA as well. 

DU BBA Admission and Selection Process

To pursue a DU BBA or BBE course, students have to prepare for the CUET UG. The exam has four sections - Quantitative Ability, Business & General Awareness, Reasoning, and English. Appearing for this exam is a vital step for pursuing a BBA at DU. Have a look at the selection process that occurs after the exam:

  • The preliminary shortlisting of candidates will be based on the score they secure in the CUET UG exam.

  • The shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. These rounds will be conducted only for BMS and BBA-FIA applications. For BBE, there won’t be any GD and PI processes.

Application Process through CUET UG

  • Applicants must go to the official CUET UG website at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

  • Candidates must click the "Register" tab once they find it on the website. 

  • Candidates need to click "Proceed" after reading and comprehending the information provided. 

  • Candidates will then be taken to the application form after this. Applicants must properly fill out every one of the necessary fields. 

  • The candidates will need to upload important documents, such as their mark sheet, signature, and photo, after filling in the fields that are required. Candidates need to upload every document required. 

  • The online application form will not be taken into consideration if the application fee is not paid at the time of submission by the candidates.

  • Upon payment, applicants print the form and retain a printed copy for their future reference.

BBA at DU Course Details

The Bachelor of Business Administration course structure at Delhi University is similar to BBA courses offered at other universities. The course is divided into six semesters in total and the entire duration of the course is three years. Similar to other BBA courses, the curriculum focuses on areas like financial management, derivatives, statistics, economics, etc. Apart from the regular course curriculum, DU also offers different types of electives in BBA. Three different types of elective courses are offered which include Discipline Specific Electives, Skill Enhancement Courses, and Generic Elective / Interdisciplinary Courses.
