What to Carry to the JEE Main 2025 Exam Centre?: JEE Main 2025 Admit Card, Valid ID Proof such as an Aadhar Card/PAN Card/ Voter ID/Driving Licence Passport-Sized Photograph, Self-Declaration Form and PwD/PwBD Certificate if applicable have to be carried to the JEE Main exam centre 2025. As JEE Main 2025 Session 2 is being conducted from April 02, 2025, to April 09, 2025, candidates appearing for the exam must carry all important documents to the JEE Main Exam Centres. JEE Main important documents are the essential items that you must take to the JEE Main 2025 exam. Failing to take them will result in denial of entry to the JEE Main exam hall 2025. Prohibited Items to the JEE Main 2025 Exam Centre

Specific items are strictly prohibited inside the JEE Main 2025 examination hall. Make sure that you do not carry any of the following items at the JEE Main exam centre.

  • Identity Cards: ID cards issued by the schools/ colleges/ universities/coaching centres will not be considered as a valid ID proof. Even photocopies or images stored on mobile phones will not be accepted. Hence, do not carry any of these.

  • Stationery items: Do not carry any stationery items including pen, paper, pencil, textual material (printed or written material)pencil box, geometry box etc. Pen/ Pencil and blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided by the invigilator in the JEE Main examination room.

  • Electronics/Gadgets: Any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices will not be allowed in the JEE Main 2025 exam hall. This comprises Mobile Phone, Microphone, Ear Phone, Pager, Calculator, Slide Rules, DocuPen, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder etc.  You will also not be permitted to wear/carry any type of watch including Electronic Watches with the facilities of a calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the JEE Main Examination Hall/Room.

  • Eatables: Refrain from carrying eatables (loose or packed) and water inside the JEE Main 2025 exam hall. These will not be allowed.

  • Handbags: You are not allowed to carry any kind of handbag or purse.

What to Carry to the JEE Main 2025 Exam Centre?

You are required to carry the crucial documents on the JEE Main 2025 exam day to avoid any last-minute difficulty. The most common reason for the candidates being denied entry into the entrance exam halls is because of incorrect documents. The following documents should be carried by you at the JEE Main 2025 exam centres.

Required JEE Main Document

Details

Valid ID Proof

Carry a government-issued ID proof like an Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or other acceptable ID. Ensure that the ID matches the details provided during the application process.

JEE Main 2025 Admit Card

Download the JEE Main 2025 admit card from the official NTA website. Ensure that all details, such as your name, photograph, exam centre, and timing, are appropriate and visible. Carry a printed copy (preferably in colour) in good condition.

Self-Declaration Form

If required by the health guidelines, download and fill out a self-declaration form about your health and travel history. Prepare this form in advance to avoid last-minute issues.

Passport-Sized Photograph

Carry at least two copies of the same photograph used during the JEE Main 2025 application process. These may be required for verification or to be affixed to attendance sheets.

PwD/PwBD Certificate

Claiming relaxation under the PwD/PwBD category must come with a certificate issued by an authorized medical officer or according to annexures provided in the Information Bulletin. For those with physical limitations requiring assistance during the JEE Main 2025 exam, a valid certificate must be provided for verification purposes.

JEE Main Exam Centre Guidelines 2025

The JEE Main 2025 exam centre guidelines for the exam day have been elaborated below for your reference.

  • Reach the JEE Main Exam Centre 2025 at least 2 hours before the JEE Main 2025 exam. For the morning shift exam, arrive by 7 AM, and for the afternoon shift, arrive by 1 PM. The gates will close 30 minutes before the examination begins.

  • Bring your JEE Main 2025 Admit Card, a valid photo ID proof (like Aadhar, PAN card, or passport), and a recent passport-sized photograph.

  • Be prepared for the document and biometric verification process. Physical frisking will also be done for security purposes.

  • Do not bring mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, or any kind of electronic devices to the JEE Main 2025 exam hall.

  • Wear light, comfortable clothes and avoid full-sleeve shirts, shoes, jewellery, belts, or heavy clothing. Only sandals or slippers are allowed.

  • You can carry a transparent water bottle and hand sanitiser at the JEE Main 2025 exam hall. Food items are not allowed inside the JEE Main 2025 hall.

  • Before beginning the exam, read all instructions provided on the question paper carefully.

  • Make use of your time wisely. Do not spend too much time on one specific question. Attempt the easier questions first.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on the JEE Main 2025 exam. Avoid stress to perform better in the exam.

To pursue B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering at Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies, a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent is mandatory. Without Mathematics, you shall not be considered eligible for a B.Tech degree. However, with PCB combination, you can explore alternative programs, such as B.Sc. in allied medical or life sciences.
