The admission process at Kumaun University is based on merit as well as entrance exam scores of candidates. The minimum average percentage required for admission to the UG and PG courses is 50% in the previous qualifying examination. Apart from this, admission to the UG medical courses at Kumaun University is based on the scores of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG. For the PG medical courses, the NEET PG scores are evaluated. If you are fulfilling these requirements, then you can participate in the admission process of the university by registering on their official website.

Yes, you can apply online for admission to Kumaun University. You can go through the steps below for better reference:
- Visit the official website.
- Go to the Admission section.
- Click on Apply Online.
- Deposit the fees by clicking on the ‘PAY FEES’ tab.
- You will be redirected to a new page to pay either online or you can generate challan.
- Enter the details required by the bank during payment.
- Provide bank transaction number and DOB before starting the application.
- Fill out the form and submit it.
