The course curriculum is well organized and carefully chosen in order to give students a deep insight about infections of oral cavity, Osteomyelitis and Osteoradionecrosis, cystic lesions of the jaws, odontogenic and non-odontogenic tumors, oral cancer, etc.
The placement facilities in the college are unparalleled. Almost 85-90% of the students get recruited every year and many of them are placed overseas.
The college provides the internships to the students. The college also provides the job to the students. In internships, they teach how to do the things practically.
The curriculum is different for each topic. It helps to keep the students involved with whatever they are learning.
The placement cell has a great record which is quite great as compared with other colleges and around 80 to 70 percent of students got selected in every year which is such a big number. So every student got placed in their desired field.

The course duration is of one year and it consists of 2 semesters in total. It aims for training the personnel in design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures, moulds, etc. By the end of the course, the institute hopes that the students are well versed in designing and production.
There's a project work assigned to students which is kind of an internship for 5 months time on which students are marked. Apart from that, students are prepped well so as to get placement after completion of their course. There are also workshops conducted so that the students are prepared during the time of their internship.
In terms of completion of course on time SDC lags a bit. Students himself/herself has to stay updated with the syllabus and study accordingly.
No campus placement However alumini's are given opportunity to work and teach at college Very often students are placed as resident dentists in different hospitals and personal clinics
The subjects that are covered in the four-year course are Oral medicine, Anatomy, Biochemistry, General surgery, Community Dentistry, and many more.
