Arya Vidyapeeth College has been identified by the University Grants Commission as an institution having potential for excellence. The CPE (College with Potential for Excellence) tag along with a grant will surely help the institution to scale greater heights. As part of the ongoing CPE scheme several projects have been initiated both for institutional as well as community development. Facilities like Wi-Fi, 24 hours power back-up, language laboratory, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, gemological instruments etc are all part of the first phase of implementation. CPE has also led to establishment of the Historical and Anthropological Cultural Heritage Centre, the first of its kind in Assam. The College diligently carries out its Community Development Project at Garbhanga wherein it has adopted a school and adjacent villages Garbhanga is a very remote place, ironically on the fringe of Guwahati. Further, under this scheme the college has also taken up a project on Waste Management of Guwahati city. Arya Vidyapeeth College has not confined itself to class room teaching and learning only but has reached out to the larger masses in the form of distance education. The institution has a full fledged “Study Centre” of the World’s largest Open University, IGNOU. Various courses right form Certificate to Masters Level is offered. Overall: Firstly I feel very proud for being part of arya family. Being short and precise, the faculty herein are skillfully educated especially the zoology and chemistry(D.D sir) ones. I love the experience in the campus which is huge.
Placement: Need not to worry about the placements just focus on your skills and strengthen your weak hands, hopefully you will be able to make an remarkable placement.
Infrastructure: The buildings are maintained highly as well the roads. It consists of an auditorium, a basketball ball ground, free c'mon room wifi, museum and much more.
Faculty: Professors here are friendly and helpful for those who wants to learn. Only you must be able to take out your learnings from the teachers. Faculty here are unbeatable.

Infrastructure: The college is already not a very prestigious but a big home for many students in their persue for knowledge. Currently the college has took up measures to add more infrastructure and to open up more departments facilities too increase the number of departments provided by the college. It also is continuing to add more colours to the campus by not neglecting the old buildings.
Faculty: As a student from manipur never thought they would treat me as the other. All college faculty took up many measures to ensure stability within the college and for the students to experience the best time when they are with the college campus
