IMI Kolkata PGDM in Marketing Management - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: IMI is popular for its PGDM programme in Kolkata. I pursued PGDM in marketing management and passed out in 2022. The IMI Kolkata course fee for PGDM was around Rs 7 Lakh. The institute is quite good in terms of faculty, infrastructure and placements.

Placement: Almost 99% of the students in my batch got placed. The highest package offered was around 14 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies at IMI Kolkata placements 2022 were Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, EY, TCS, HDFC, Amazon, TATA, Jio, and Byjus. Almost all the students got summer internships in NCA, HSBC, MCVities, ICICI Bank and many more. The average stipend was around Rs 1.2 LPA.

Infrastructure: The IMI Kolkata provides a student with a nice campus life experience. Central AC facility is available in classrooms, lab, cafeteria and mess. The campus has playgrounds and courts for volleyball, football and badminton. IMI Hostel facility is available for all students with 3 kinds of hostel rooms, single, double and executive rooms. It has a mess facility and common rooms.

Faculty: The teachers used projects, presentations, and class activities to involve the students. They had expertise in their specialised fields. They monitored the overall development of the students and helped us become industry-ready through assignments, internships and live projects.

Hostel: IMI Kolkata has the facility of a hostel for both boys and girls. I was a resident of IMI Kolkata boys’ hotel. I paid around Rs 2 Lakh annually for a single seater room with a mess facility included.

Overall: Joining the PGDM course in this college was a good decision. I got the best learning experience and got the exposure to various aspects of my stream that allowed me to become what I am today.

Overall: IMI Kolkata is probably one of the best institutes where management aspirants can learn and master the different aspects of management courses. Excellent learning environment and best teaching facilities.

Placement: The placement cell makes all the necessary arrangements to bring in reputed and leading companies for campus placement with excellent salary packages.

Infrastructure: The college campus is well maintained and equipped with all the facilities that a student needs. Plus, the campus is regularly cleaned to cater a nice and pleasant environment for students as well as visitors.

Faculty: All the professors are extremely helpful and are ready to assist students in their academic issues. They are even ready to give one-on-one classes for students who need extra help.

Hostel: The rooms are well furnished with all the required amenities like AC, heater, and WIFI. The food served is good but still miss all the home-cooked meals.

Overall: What’s best that I felt about studying here was the kind of learning environment created by the teachers. They make use of various advanced methods to not only make learning easy but also fun. Overall, the college is nice and I am happy to be associated with it.

Placement: The placement cell get the best companies at the campus during recruitment drives so that students are able to avail the best placements & salary packages in reputed companies.

Infrastructure: The college campus is located centrally in the city which makes it easy to reach from almost every direction. Plus, the college has its transport system for students as well as a hostel for those who are living quite far.

Faculty: Every single faculty member is very helpful and is always ready to assist students in academics. Plus, they even organise one-on-one classes for students who require extra tutoring.

Hostel: The hostel rooms are very tidy and are packed with all the facilities needed for a comfortable accommodation. The food is alright but not as home cooked.

Overall: I have recently passed out from IMI Kolkata with lots of experience and memories. IMI Kolkata is a very nice college for students who wish to pursue PGDM in Marketing. The college provides good practical knowledge and all the required facilities to its students.

Placement: IMI Kolkata provides good placement opportunities and training to its students. Most of the students in my batch are placed now. We have received offers from top companies like Deloitte, Amazon, Genpact, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank.

Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure of IMI Kolkata includes classrooms, a library, hostels for both boys and girls, a canteen, a playground, common rooms, laboratories, etc. The campus infrastructure is well-developed and equipped with all the necessary amenities for students.

Faculty: The teachers at IMI Kolkata were very nice and helpful. Most of them are PhD holders. Every teacher tried their best to help the students and bring the best out of them.

Hostel: My college has a hostel facility for both boys and girls. The hostel is affordable. It has single and double sharing rooms with AC and non-AC. The hostel has all the basic facilities such as food, water, electricity, wifi, a gym and security.

Overall: I am currently pursuing PGDM in Marketing from IMI Kolkata. The curriculum is up-to-date and advanced. Teachers are highly experienced and passionate about their subjects. Workshops and seminars are conducted regularly for practical knowledge. Overall IMI Kolkata is a good option for PGDM.

Overall: As a student of PGDM in Marketing Management, I am really grateful to the college and their teachers who have mentored me with all the marketing & management skillsets. Everything about this college is really nice, right from the campus till the food served in hostels & canteen.

Placement: The college provides excellent placement opportunities to the students. The placement cell helps students in nurturing the skills and knowledge that are required for getting successful placements. They also make arrangements for bring industrial leaders and reputed companies to the campus.

Infrastructure: The entire campus is well equipped with all the modern facilities that are making the lives of students very comfortable. The WiFi connection is very stable & strong throughout the entire campus. Medical facilities are also there so that students can take care of their illness easily.

Faculty: All the teachers are extremely helpful along with being quite professional when it comes to teaching. There had been few instances where I had received their prompt response & support.

Hostel: The hostel is equipped with all the latest facilities and the rooms are regularly cleaned & sanitized daily since the COVID-19 pandemic. The canteen is well maintained and the correct hygiene is followed.

Overall: IMI Kolkata might not a top-tier dream college but considering the progress, they are making every year IMI Kolkata will surely be one in the coming years.

Placement: Just like any other college, they also prepare a student for placement. There are several opportunities to get placed at a good company all you need is to prepare yourself for it.

Infrastructure: One can experience a welcoming atmosphere at the advent of interaction with the college faculty, students and staff. Being situated in the lush green, posh locality of Alipore it provides several facilities like easily available transport, good eateries and convenient accessibility to various parts of the city.

Faculty: The faculties are qualified and experienced. The curriculum provides you with enough opportunity to participate in live projects, club activities and off-campus events.

Hostel: The college mess also provides excellent food which is quite unlikely to find in a hostel facility. The mess staff make sure to cater to the taste preferences of the students coming from various parts of the country.

Overall: To take admission to this institute was a good decision of mine. For the three years, I enjoyed college life very much and will recommend it for management courses. All aspects of IMI Kolkata are satisfactory to me.

Placement: There is a good placement cell at our institute which is responsible for training and grooming students for facing interviews. Many companies visit the campus for recruiting students. Many of our friends got good job offers from the placement drives.

Infrastructure: The International Management Institute Kolkata campus is well known for its excellent infrastructure. The entire campus, the buildings-everything is part of its great infrastructure. Besides, students have various facilities here. From classes to auditorium to hostels, everything has been well developed to provide the best facility.

Faculty: The faculty members of management departments were helpful. Whenever needed, we got help from our professors. They supplied us with notes and materials. The professors are highly qualified and helpful.

Hostel: IMI Kolkata offers hostel facilities at an affordable cost. There are single, double and triple sharing rooms in the hostel. Students get the basic amenities like attached washrooms, WiFi, and laundry facilities in the hostel rooms along with free wifi.
