Overall: The hostels in nitc follow as per the menu the food is not bad as of other state person i can't say I am 100 percent satisfy with the food that they are providing but we can adjust with the food. The mess fee is okay we can pay with in the nitc hostels app Study is very very good we can get placements with that
Placement: As of now I have heard the more students are not getting the placements but we are trying to get into something by our teachers or faculties help . The placements will be guaranteed it was almost 98 Percentage can get placements so the placements will be good and all will be satisfied with that
Infrastructure: NITC infrastructure is good compared to remaining NITS/IITS we have good ventilation in the classrooms and mess library is too comfortable to study the buildings and the climate all these creates a postive feel i
Faculty: faculty in nitc are very good some of them help us in placements and internship as they are senior lecture who can bring many companies using their influence and many faculties if we meet them in their free timings they give as many advices we want
Hostel: In NITC they are 3 different types of hostels 1) for 1st year 2)for 2,3 years 3)for 4th year For 1st people they are 4 people in a room it's good we can adjust as the hostels are good for 2nd,3rd year is awesome the room only has 2 people but for 4th years the hostels are too worst there is no nice ventilation
Overall: For my JEE Main rank, I got this chemical engineering so I opted for it. Many intentions and teachers are good and facilities are good. They introduce the correct and useful curriculum. Here, fests are not as good as expected.
Placement: Students in their seventh semester are eligible to participate in the placement process at our college. Renowned companies such as Oracle, Bajaj, and DE Shaw have visited our campus, offering attractive opportunities. The highest package offered was approximately 60 Lacs, while the average package stands at around 12 Lacs.
Infrastructure: There will be AC, labs, a library, and study rooms. All classrooms will be well furnished so you will feel very comfortable listening to classes. There will be availability of Wi-Fi across campus and hostels. In case of a medical emergency, there will be a health care centre that is totally free.
Faculty: The teachers exhibit a commendable level of assistance and engagement, although a few may display strictness and arrogance towards students. However, considering their age, it is understandable for occasional outbursts to occur. The curriculum comprises a mid-semester examination and an end-semester examination. It proves highly beneficial for students inclined towards the core subjects, although the majority of students express a keen interest in the IT field.
Hostel: The washrooms are maintained in a clean and tidy manner. The quality of the mess food is not terrible, but dishes prepared with coconut oil may not be enjoyable for students from outside the state. The promotion of sports and games is highly encouraged, and there is a health center available for medical services.
Overall: They arrange educational trips to other place so that the students as a exposure to the outer environment. They prvide live session. I like this placement.
Overall: Nit Calicut itself is one of the top colleges in India. The placements here are top notch. The college hostels given to us are not bad.The teaching staff are well experienced.
Placement: Placements here in the Nit Calicut are top notch. Here there are many companies coming like Qualcomm, Microsoft,Google,TCS etc..Around 86% have got placed here with a highest package around 48 lakh per annum and median package at 11 lakh per annum.Around 200 companies visited the campus recruiting more than 1100 students this year.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure of the campus is actually okay.As this campus has been constructed in 1961 so the buildings here are quite old but the management is putting efforts from their side to improve the Infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty here are graduates from IITs and other prestigious colleges. They are well experienced and PhD holders. They are going to be strict regarding attendance. They can deliver good concepts to the students with well defined examples and teach you how to prepare for the placements.
Hostel: For the 1st year students u need to stay in some old hostels which are okay.Don't worry they are trying to modify everything here. But from second year u need to stay in Mega hostels which are like amazing with good ambience and they are kept near so no issues. The hostels have water filters and co-operative store inside it.The room capacity for 1st year students is 4.Inside the hostel itself there is mess for having food and refreshments.
Overall: this is very good collage,,,,faculty of this collage is very good,,, teachers solve each and every doubt of their students,,this is very good place for study
