At present, the campus spreads over 85 acres of area consisting of institutional academic block, two workshop blocks, one multipurpose utility block, three halls of residence, canteen and a guest house. In addition to this another academic block, world class Auditoria of 2000 capacity is under construction. PMEC is well known for both its students and faculty. This institute has not only highly qualified dynamic faculties but also students with good ranks are selected from JEE mains every year.
The college has three in-campus hostels (Two Boys and One Ladies) with capacity of 900 inmates. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished and duly maintained. Mess facility is provided for students. Hygienic vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods are provided to the students at a nominal rate. Incoming telephone facility is provided for the hostel. There is a small library inside the hostel and is attached to a common room with TV facility. All the hostels have Wi-Fi coverage with a small computer room with internet connection. Hostel is provided with first aid kits and general medicines to take care of simple illness. A consulting room is available in the hostel. The college vehicle has been engaged to shift the sick to nearby hospitals in case of emergency. One pharmacist is always there to ensure medical facilities of students. Furthermore, the hostellers have access to the Central Library in the campus. The hostel is having a recreation hall which acts as a common room for the students with facilities for indoor games. Several news papers and magazines are subscribed to the hostels. Audio visual facilities are also provided in the hall through television and audio systems. On the innovative front, Institute is planning to set up a rooftop solar system in hostels to provide warm water, to be used for various purposes.
Physical recreation through games and sports has been an important part of the institute since its inception.

National Service Scheme (NSS) at PMEC is aimed at providing each student with a significant context in which he/she can reach a deeper understanding of social reality in India today. As a part of this, the students visit nearby schools and hospitals to assist the government authorities in their leisure.
One NCC Platoon (Army Wing) is raised in this institute in the year 2016 and one Asst. professor is acting as Associated NCC officers for the Platoon. N.C.C. /N.S.S. is compulsory at the 1st year level & offered for the benefit of the students as it builds their character, leadership, officer like qualities and helps them in selection for defense services. NCC aims at exacting a force of disciplined and trained manpower to help the country in a national emergency.
The Photography Club at PMEC is a group of people who share a passion for photography and meet frequently to showcase and discuss new ideas and thoughts. The Club members are mostly Amateur Photographers who come together and help each other’s to learn the art of Photography, and Undertake Photography as an Interesting Hobby. Photography is our passion as well as a hobby. The club is run by a large number of students from all the departments who have shown creativity in the field of photography.

The Department of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Computer Science Engineering and have Engineering Societies in which the teachers and students of the concerned departments are members.These societies are mainly meant to build up a good academic atmosphere by organising lectures by outside speakers and also by the members of the societies. They also help to promote good relationship between the field departments and industries on one hand and the educational institution on the other. The members also take up modelling work and organise quiz and other competitions regularly. For the academic development, the engineering societies organise many activities.
