CLAT 2025 Seats for General Category: Total No. of Seats with Fees

The CLAT 2025 seats for General category have been declared by the National Law Universities individually on their official websites. Students who have appeared for this year’s CLAT will get their allotment during the counselling process. You all can visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in to check the seat matrix at all NLUs. The Consortium of the NLUs conducted the CLAT entrance exam for admitting candidates to the BA LLB, B.Com LLB, B.Sc LLB, BBA LLB and LLM courses at the NLUs. The number of seats offered by the law schools varies. The seat intake is divided into categories: General, SC, ST, OBC and EWS. The students who pass CLAT 2025 with a good score and participate in the CLAT counselling process will see their names on the CLAT 2025 seat allotment list.

The candidates whose names will appear on the category-wise list issued after the results will become eligible to register for the CLAT 2025 counselling process . CLAT 2025 Seat Intake Eligibility

Given below are the CLAT eligibility criteria prescribed by the Consortium of the NLUs for its various law programmes. The eligibility criteria include the minimum requirements regarding educational qualification, passing marks, and age limit.

  • Candidates appearing in the final semester exam of their respective undergraduate or equivalent degree can also apply

CLAT 2025 Seat Allotment Guidelines

Some guidelines should be followed for the CLAT seat allotment. The students can check the CLAT 2025 seat allotment guidelines below:

  • The list will be published on the official website of the conducting body of CLAT 2025 by the Consortium of the NLUs.
  • The provisionally selected General category candidates shall be able to take part in the CLAT 2025 counselling process.
  • The candidates must submit an amount of Rs 30,000 (approximate) through the official website of CLAT 2025. The same amount will be transferred to the chosen NLU.
  • Candidates failing to submit the amount shall not be considered for admission at any NLU.
  • After this, the names of such candidates will be removed from the CLAT 2025 merit list.
  • Candidates must make sure that they reserve their seats during this process by paying the counselling fee.
  • The seat allotment lists contain the Student's Name, Admit Card Number, All India Rank (AIR) and category.
  • Candidates must log into their accounts on the Consortium of the NLUs' official website and learn which NLUs have been allotted to them.
  • No refund of the counselling fee can be requested after the last date of withdrawal from the CLAT 2025 admission process.
