JEE Main Dress Code 2024 - The JEE Main 2024 session 2 exam is likely to be held from April 3, 2024 onwards. The NTA has conducted the JEE Main Session 1 exam on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2024. Candidates who will be appearing in the JEE Main 2024must be aware of the JEE Main 2024 dress code and adhere to it. Students are required to read the instructions, which contain a list of forbidden goods, instructions for the JEE Main 2024 dress code, and a code of behavior during the exam. The JEE Main dress code is designed to avoid foreplay or cheating by any student.

Therefore, NTA has set some guidelines and instructions in the JEE Main dress code 2024 which states what students should wear, what not to carry, and what not to wear. Students should wear simple and optimum clothing and not carry  Caps, scarves, stoles, and jewelry made of metal to the JEE Main exam centres 2024. Moreover, students should not forget to carry the JEE Main admit card 2024 along with valid ID proof to the exam center.

The JEE Main 2024 exam will begin at 9 a.m. for the forenoon session. JEE Main 2024 Dress Code: What to Wear?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has established tight rules for JEE Main, a national test that is administered each year. Students are now routinely searched at every testing location before they may take the test. Candidates should adhere to the JEE Main dress code 2024 when they arrive for the exam

• The key to adhering to the dress code is to keep it as straightforward and fundamental as possible
•  Usually, one layer is sufficient, and the optimum option
• For instance, a plain T-shirt or kurta with plain, pocketless trousers. As long as they are appropriate for the setting, loose clothing is OK

JEE Main 2024 Dress Code: What Not to Wear?

If you want to have a smooth entrance check on the JEE Main 2024 exam day, it's equally crucial to know what NOT to dress. So, the following advice should be kept in mind while you organize your clothes for the exams, and make sure to follow the JEE Main dress code 2024.

• Avoid wearing pants with large, many, zippered, or embellished pockets
• Reject any apparel that features offensive slogans, designs, logos, or bright, dazzling colors
• Brooches, badges, and large buttons should not be worn
• It is prohibited to wear socks, stockings, heels, sneakers, or anything else similar
• Keep your hair simple; complicated hairstyles like a bun or beehive may result in a lengthy frisking session
• Avoid donning layers of garments. Hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, stoles, mufflers, and shawls fall under this category
• Make sure you don't have any metallic or metal-colored jewelry, accessories, or other items on you. This includes belts, sunglasses, earrings, bracelets, rings, and even brassieres with metal or metallic underwiring

JEE Main Dress Code 2024 For Male

For the sake of avoiding pointless inspections, all candidates should dress appropriately. There won't be any misunderstanding as long as the applicants adhere to the JEE Mains 2024 dress code. Candidates can check the JEE Main 2024 dress code for males given below. 

• Candidates are not permitted to wear clothing with metallic components. Metallic objects must be avoided during frisking since they cause issues
• Candidates are not permitted to cover their heads with a hat, muffler, or another piece of clothing

• The wearing of any jewelry or accessories is strictly banned

JEE Main Dress Code 2024 For Females

Female applicants who will be appearing in the upcoming exam must adhere to the JEE Mains dress code 2024, which is shown below. Additionally, particular recommendations should be followed to remove any uncertainty or ambiguity. 

• Any type of stole, dupatta, or scarf is not permitted for candidates
• Any jewelry or decorations must not be worn by students
• Candidates must not wear any metallic goods of any type or clothing or accessories that include metal
• On the day of the JEE Main 2024 exam, candidates should wear loose, comfortable clothing while keeping in mind the season and weather
• Candidates are not permitted to wear jewelry such as bracelets, rings, or goggles

JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Guidelines for Diabetic Students

Candidates who have diabetes are permitted to bring a clear water bottle, sugar pills, and fruits like bananas, oranges, or apples. To prevent any health problems, diabetic students are recommended to monitor their health both before and after the JEE Main 2024 exam. They will not be authorized to bring packaged foods such as chocolates, candy, or sandwiches, though.

On the JEE Main 2024 exam day, there are certain items that students must not carry with them to the exam center or they will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The things that are prohibited from JEE Main are listed below.

Documents to Carry in JEE Main 2024 Exam Hall

Apart from the documents not to be carried inside the exam hall, let’s check the list of mandatory documents to be carried inside the JEE Main 2024 Examination hall.

1. JEE Main Admit Card 2024 photocopy mandatory to be colored printed.
2. The same passport-size photograph that was uploaded in the JEE Main 2024 application form.
3. A photo verification ID can be an Aadhar card, driver's license, passport, voter ID, PAN card, ration card, etc. have to be presented.
4. A disability certificate for PwD candidates only.

JEE Mains 2024 Exam Day Instructions

Check the important JEE Main exam day guidelines given below. 

• Please ensure that you reach the examination hall before the scheduled time for your exam. Additionally, do not forget to carry a 50ml bottle of hand sanitizer with you.
• If you are applying under the physical disability category, you must bring along all the documents mentioned by NTA.
• Note that you are not allowed to carry any banned items into the examination hall.
• Students are recommended to visit the exam place one day before the exam date to determine the route and travel time in order to prevent unforeseen situations on test day.
• During the test, students must adhere to the code of conduct and avoid any form of misconduct.
• Students must bring their JEE Main admit card, one passport-sized colored photograph, and a valid photo ID proof. Candidates must be aware that they will be unable to take the exam unless they have an admission card, a photograph, and photo ID evidence.
• Candidates will also be frisked following restroom breaks. JEE Main frisking will provide a fair examination atmosphere.
