The minimum marks required in NEET 2025 for MBBS are expected to range between 720 to 162 for the General category, 161 to 127 for the Reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST), 143 to 127 for the OBC/SC-PH category, and 139 to 127 for the ST-PH category. The minimum qualifying marks for NEET vary every year due to several factors such as the number of test takers, the exam difficulty level, different categories and so on.

Students need to remember that the minimum marks required in NEET for MBBS are determined by several factors at play. These factors remain unchanged and impact the year-wise analysis of how many marks are required in NEET for MBBS out of 720. The major criteria influencing the same are the total number of students appearing in the NEET exam, the overall exam difficulty level of the NEET 2025 exam, the total number of student registrations, the college-wise seat matrix, the NEET 2025 Reservation Policy , and the previous years’ trends. A higher level of student competition will lead to higher NEET passing marks for MBBS.
