GGU Bilaspur Admissions 2023: The CUET PG 2023 application correction window is open from May 12 - May 13, 2023. CUET PG 2023 is scheduled for June 1 - June 10, 2023. CUET PG 2023 will be accepted for Guru Ghasidas University PG admissions 2023.

GGU Bilaspur Courses Requirements 

A CUET score is mandatory for GGU Bilaspur admission into UG and PG courses. The entrance test for central universities is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the form of Common University Entrance Test or CUET. The GGU Bilaspur admission into UG and PG programmes follow the same timeline and requirements. However, the course-wise eligibility criteria vary. The admission process for GGU Bilaspur briefly involves the following steps:

After qualifying for JEE, the students must register for counselling at the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) or Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) portal. JoSAA or CSAB will declare merit lists by analysing the JEE scores of applicants as well as allocate the deserving institutes. 

The B.Tech admission at GGU Bilaspur involves the following steps: 

• Register and appear for JEE Mains or JEE Advanced. 
• Register at the JoSAA (josaa.nic.in) or CSAB (csab.nic.in) by using the JEE roll number and password for registration. The candidates are required to fill their choice of courses and colleges from the available list. 
• The available courses and colleges according to a candidate’s eligibility will be listed out in online mode. Candidates can choose Bilaspur Guru Ghasidas university from the given list and the B.Tech course they wish to opt for. 
• The next step is to lock their selected choices. Once the choices are locked there can be no further changes or modifications. 
• After shortlisting candidates, JoSAA or CSAB will notify candidates to go for document verification at their nearest centre. 
• Post document verification, the final merit lists will be declared wherein the selected candidates will be allocated their deserving institute for admission.
• The candidates are to visit their institute/ university (GGU Bilaspur in this case) and seek admission on the notified date.
• There will be another round of document verification where  JoSAA/ CSAB selection form, JEE mains scorecard, academic documents, migration certificate and four recent passport size photographs are required.

PhD admission at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur is based on VRET followed by a personal interview or group discussion. However, candidates with a national or state qualification like UGC/ CSIR NET, SLET, GATE, students with recognised fellowships or M.Phil degree are exempted from VRET. They can directly register for the second round of admission.

The GGU Bilaspur PhD admission process involves the following steps:

• Apply for the VRET and clear the test with a minimum 50% marks. The syllabus of the test will be 50% of research methodology and 50% subject specific. The duration of the test will be 120 minutes. 
• The merit lists for the second round will be prepared based on the marks obtained above qualifying marks in VRET and in order of merit.
• The next step is to appear for the personal interview or group discussion as notified by the respective departments.
• The final score for Phd admission at GGU Bilaspur is based on 70% weightage  of VRET score and 30% of the scores obtained in GD or PI.
