Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Landran offers 1 course at the masters level in the field of hotel management. This is the Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) course. It is offered for a duration of 2 years in the full-time mode. In order to be eligible for the MHMCT course admissions, candidates must have passed graduation in any discipline from a university or institute recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The BCA course at Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran is one of the top courses opted for by the students. This course is a 3-year regular course which holds a good placement record as well. LPU strictly follows the standards set by the UGC. ON the basis of UGC guidelines, LPU has drawn its academic policy and set other criteria as well. Since you have not mentioned which program you are interested in, I will give you a brief overview of the main programs offered at UG level. The eligibility for B Tech, and hons programs such as BBA Hons, BSc Hons and B Com hons programs is 60 percent. The eligibility for MBA is 55 percent, B Com, BCA and BBA is 50 percent. For BA the eligibility is pass marks in any discipline. LPU conducts LPUNEST for admission in MBA, Hons, BPT, MLT, B Tech programs etc.

In terms of facilities, infrastructure, and educational offerings, CU is superior to CGC Landran. Due to the excellent amenities it offers its students, Chandigarh University is much superior. To help pupils perform better, they make sure that each student has a suitable record that is kept.

Hi…. I don’t have any idea about this institute. In my opinion LPU is a better option to pursue career in management studies. LPU is a premier academic institution with world-class infrastructure and an outstanding placement record. LPU's Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation. LPU has got 47th National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022 among all govt and private universities in India. For admission to MBA at LPU, one should have at least a 55% score in graduation subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT. After qualifying for LPUNEST the applicant has to appear for an interview and qualify it. LPU puts its best efforts into grooming the students to get good placements. The curriculum incorporates specific courses under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester. Exhaustive preparatory sessions are conducted before the placement drives of leading brands and major recruiters so that more students can secure good placement offers at dream packages. Being a management student of this university, I would say a big NO if you really wanted to do MBA than just go for LPU it is best university for management and yes for other subjects also. Industrial exposure, Internships are there and moreover best placements opportunities for management students are there in the university. According to LPU officials they usually say that they provide 100% placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. 500+ companies visit to the campus and university provide them the best of the candidates who are already industry ready. People who think that they can study from where ever and it will be best for them, then I am sorry to say this, that if u what to study for just a piece of a paper then please go ahead these universities/collages are no harm

I dont know about CGC landran, however let me give you detail about LPU and its faculty. . Faculty: LPU composed of the best faculties from IIM, IIT’s and the other best B schools. It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA! 4.
