IEM Kolkata does not offer an M.Sc in Biotechnology programme. The only M.Sc course available at IEM Kolkata is a two-year M.Sc in Computer Science programme. However, if you are in search of a college that offers M.Sc in Biotechnology in your region, you may fill out our Common Application Form. Students are needed to pay Rs 500 through the online mode as WBJEE Counselling fee. It is same for candidates with JEE Main ranks and for candidates with WBJEE ranks. You cannot skip the fee payment as it is important for registering for the WBJEE counselling process.

-Answered on June-08-2023BBA is a 3-year graduate program. Those who are inclined towards management studies can opt for BBA. The course is one of the most popular courses and is renowned as a well-known course among the students.
The students who graduate with a degree in BBA from LPU are qualified to give competitive exams, apply for the post of process managers, risk analysts, development executives, human resource managers, and many others. After completing BBA, you can apply for higher studies by joining dual or integrated programs.
Placement companies: Various companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, HCL, etc., offer on-campus job opportunities. Cognizant has a placement record of placing over 600 students in a single day. So, you should not worry about the placements. Students also get trained in the same company in which they are placed.
After completing your BBA degree, you can pursue higher studies like MBA which is in the management field, again.

-Answered on May-31-2023Let me tell the this thing that if you want to take admission in MBA than the eligibility for that is pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview Or Completed Company Secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), subject to qualifying Interview Or Completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), subject to qualifying Interview Or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI)., subject to qualifying Interview, you need to fulfil this eligibility criteria for taking admission in LPU.

-Answered on May-23-2023Dear Student, Institute of Engineering and Management takes admission through JEE Mains, WBJEE and the institute's own entrance exam IEMJEE for B.Tech course. Students desiring admission through WBJEE must qualify the IEM Kolkata cutoff for WBJEE. IEM Kolkata B.Tech Lateral Entry admissions is done through JELET exam. For BBA, BCA and M.Sc (Computer Science) admissions students need to appear for CET organised by MAKAUT. Lastly, for MCA admissions at IEM Kolkata students need to qualify WBJECA exam.

-Answered on May-11-2023The eligibility criteria for MCA here in LPU, pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years OR B.A. or B.Com. or B.Sc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics or Statistics or QT or Business Math as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants).
